  1. Which mod is that?
  2. Hmm...that was very...different to say the least lol. Kept me entertained for a good minute though.
  3. Yes, it does. In most of the demo trailers they run DirectX 10. The game can also run on DirectX 9 as well. Here's two videos that shows the difference between the two. [gametrailers]19968[/gametrailers] [gametrailers]19966[/gametrailers]
  4. November 6...mark those calenders people!
  5. The more the better lol .
  6. Oh man...reading that made my anticipation even worse lol. I really like the class and perk system. I'm defiantly getting me a last stand or Martydom lol.
  7. I don't believe that. I bet it'll sell better than Crysis will, but in my eyes not be better. Don't get me wrong, I love the Halo series. I've read all of the novels as well, which is one of the reasons I want to play Halo 3 because of the gripping storyline. The Halo series is a great FPS series, but other's are better than it. Well...it may be realistic, but in one of the videos one of the developers said it's not gonna be a tactical shooter. Call of Duty is known for being realistic, but very action packed and intense. It may not take alot to bring someone down, but CoD has always been known for it's amount of over the top action.

Have as much fun as you possibly can moving Gad lol. We'll be here when you get back.
  9. Yeah, they're going to do ranks and what not. I can't remember where I read it, but you're going to be able to upgrade your soldier like in BF, but you're not restricted to classes. You are basically able to make your own class for your playing style by choosing weapons and abilities. It sounds like it's going to be an awesome time.
  10. Man...this game, CoD4, and Bioshock are the reason I need to start saving money lol. This game looks insanely beautiful. I can't wait to play this game.
  11. Man oh man, I can not wait for this game! The trailers are just making me drool in anticipation. Here's another good video. This is from the Microsoft E3 press conference. This footage is on an Xbox 360, but it's still CoD4 lol. [gametrailers]21587[/gametrailers]
  12. Congrats Dan!
  13. Oh man! Thanks a bunch Jlspence! I've been trying to find a good SF server for a while now. All the good Warlord servers have FF off which = massive claymore spamage, and that make me unhappy.
  14. My god, that thing is epic!
  15. Congrats TFD! Blessings upon both of you!
  16. Hahaha that's funny. I've never had that glitch before, but I'd like to lol.
  17. I've seen the movie twice now and I was still amazed the second time around. This movie is hands down the best movie this year. I couldn't find a thing wrong with it.
  18. Hmm...looks like I'm gonna have to set aside another $1,000 at least just to play this game lol. It looks unbelievable.
  19. ...I wish I had that kind of connection...*cries*.
  20. It's not a sequel to Far Cry, at least I think so. It is however made by the same developers using a new engine called the "CRYENGINE". I've been waiting for Crysis for a while now. It's gonna be out later this year along with a whole slew of other great games.
  21. Yeah, it's nice to watch the coverage on G4, but it's only on at certain times of the day. Checking on the internet is the better way to go because they constantly update.
  22. Yes! It is that time of year once again! The Electronics Gaming Expo, or better known as E3, is getting under way today. For those of you who don't know what E3 is (I'm sorry for you lol j/k) it is the biggest video gaming expo on Earth. It used to be open to the public for people to demo games and other things. This, however, is the first year that it's closed to the public and is now only open to certain media outlets. To stay up to date on all the great gaming info, I have 2 outlets that I check often. Some of you may know others and if you do please post them. I'm just going to state the 2 most popular. www.ign.com is the biggest gaming news site on the internet. They have HUGE amounts of E3 coverage. For those of you who want to watch the E3 coverage on TV, if you wish. G4, if you get the channel in your TV packages, has live coverage daily begining at 8 PM CST. I'd actually like to see this thread turn into a place to state new facts about games we're excited about. I'd like to see this so there aren't a whole lot of different threads...just one big one where we can argue and agree about up and coming games. Let the good times roll!
  23. All right...I have a hard time giving criticism. I always feel like a jerk when I do. Happy to help then .
  24. I gotta agree that I'm getting bored of EA. Don't get me wrong, I love Battlfield. I really really enjoy BF2 and can find 2142 pretty entertaining, but as of late I've been finding it to be boring. Now that Insurgency came out I've been playing that alot. I'm also looking forward to CoD4, ET:QW, Team Fortress 2, Crysis, and other FPS games. I just hope the next Battlefield game will make me feel the same way the first time I started getting into BF2. I enjoyed 2142, but like most of you have said, it feels like a retail mod and nothing more.

Ins is very good when you get used to it. It has a STEEEEEEEP learning curve. Like stated before, one shot kill and no hud or crosshairs except your iron sights. Where this game does excel is the teamwork. When your team works together it shows big time. Earlier, Shadow and I were on a team and Shadow led us. Our ENTIRE team was communicating, covering each other, and we smoked the other team over and over. Very fun, worth the download.
