  1. Thanks for the input. I tried to make it stand out as much as possible. I personally like how it blends in well. Thanks again for the input.
  2. It's a very long, multi-step process to say the least. It involved a lot of smudging, clone stamping, gradient maps, and a few other things.
  3. I felt like making something in Photoshop so I decided to make myself another sig. This one took a little over 2 hours straight to make. I used a render of Master Chief from some of the Halo 3 art that's been posted around the internet. Couldn't resist cause Master Chief just flat out rules lol. I am, however, just a tad bit upset about the text. I just couldn't get them to work the way that I wanted them to, so I did the best I could. Comments?
  4. Hahaha! Nice one Killer.
  5. Good question. I haven't hear anything. Would someone like to set something up or not?
  6. It's not a bad game. I've been playing the Beta for a while now, and I find it quite enjoyable. It's defiantly not the Battlefield killer some were hoping for, but it's still fun and defiantly worth picking up when it comes out.
  7. PS3... Not a huge fan of the PS3, but it is coming out on the PS3 as well. I'll be getting it for the PC.
  8. This is the set of headphones I have. http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=7950425&st=altec+lansing+headset&type=product&id=1152229204976 Ding told me about this headset when my current one was going dead. I love this headset. It's got a built in amp which is powered by a AAA battery. It has a surround feature that when turned up all the way makes everything sound unbelievable. When I hear an arty strike come down it sounds vicious. Great headset for listening to music with as well. I used them and my MP3 player while I was mowing my lawn and I could actually hear the music over the loud lawnmower.
  9. Well, these are the confirmed characters. I can guarantee there are going to be at least as many as there were in Melee, if not more. They're just doing little character profile updates in single succession. The updates differ from music, characters, music, stages, and other info.
  10. I, personally, can not WAIT to play this game! I've been a huge fan of Smash Bros. ever since it came out on the N64. My buddy and I have put COUNTLESS hours into Super Smash Bros. Melee. We've probably put in more hours of that than Battlefield. Anyways this is the newest addition to the Smash Bros. series. I'm not sure of what the release date is on it, but hopefully it will be announced at this year's E3. For those of you around here that are Smash Bros. fans and are thinking about getting this game or a Wii for that matter, here is the official Smash Bros. Brawl website. They have little updates every weekday so check back often. http://www.smashbros.com/en_us/index.html I suggest looking at the music section. They have some brilliant remixes they're going to use for the game.
  11. Yeah, I saw it the day it came out through a series of events earlier that night. It was pretty good. I'm not the biggest fan of the Fantastic 4, I haven't even seen the first one, but this was a really good movie. Plus the Silver Surfer is just an overall bad*** lol.
  12. Yeah, that build of the game is for the Xbox 360. It is also comming out on the PC and Playstation 3 (<-like anyone cares  ). They have another video up on Gametrailers.com. This one is a look at a very cool part of the multiplayer aspect. The video's called "Last Stand". Basically, I gather that when you're near dead your character drops to the ground and pulls out his sidearm for a "Last Stand" to hopefully survive a bit longer and kill the person who wounded him. I think its pretty neat. [gametrailers]20885[/gametrailers]
  13. I've seen the bottom picture happen ingame before. Also...I don't want face surgery lol.
  14. Sounds good. I would officiate the date and time with Gator so we can OFFICIALLY get everything up and running this time. I love these little friendly spars.
  15. Welcome to the forums. Enjoy your stay.
  16. Oh god I wish i had FIOS. There isn't even an area on that map that's even close to ND.
  17. So is this still going on tonight or what?
  18. *Unrelenting joy*! Yay! I can't wait for Crysis!
  19. I heard about this on G4 a few days ago. It doesn't matter for me cause AT&T doesn't provide out where I live. Only our local telecom provider does...and they're not the greatest.
  20. Cool. I didn't see the interview video. Nice pic as well. Finally...shame on you Gator for double posting lol j/k.
  21. I really like the Battlefield series. I also enjoy the Halo series, Unreal Tournament 2004, Goldeney (of course lol, my first FPS game ever), Half Life 2/Half Life 2: Deathmatch, and I'm also enjoying the Quake Wars beta so I'll probably pick that up.
  22. Here's a video on some gameplay footage from Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. The video is called "The Bog Rescue". This game is comming out one the PC, Xbox 360, and the PS3. [gametrailers]20757[/gametrailers]
  23. Yeah but I'm not the Duke boys now am I? Heh...but I think the fastest I've ever gotten to town was probably 7-8 minutes. Now keep in mind that this is on a loose gravel road with a 1991 Chevy Lumina going about 70-75 MPH. Not really the safest thing ever, but I got to town in a hurry .
  24. You've got a really, really good point there Phrogg. I kind of have the same thing with my parents right now like you did back then. My parents are very lenient when it comes to alot of things. If I want to go do something, as long as I'm done with chores or whatever I'm free to go. If I don't come in till 3 in the A.M. or untill the next day they're usually fine with that. They prefer if I call or let them know what I'm up to. Even with drinking they're very lenient. I personally choose not to drink at this stage in my life, but if I choose to do so one night or something, as long as I don't drive, don't get in a vehicle with someone that has been drinking, or just stay the night somewhere and stay out of trouble its all ok. Now...back on subject of the "video game addiction." Gator has a very good point. Sever addiction can be a result of other factors in the person's life rather than a straight forward videogame addiction. Now, I'm not gonna say that I'm addicted to videogames, but I do play them very frequently. On the average I'd say I play some sort of videogames roughly 3 or more hours a day. The main reason is that I live out on a farm. I have a vehicle to go to town and hang out with friends and what not, but some days I just feel like sitting around and not have to deal with the crap that sometimes goes along with being around other people. I have been a gamer since...heck, before I can even remember. I've heard stories of me as a little 2 year old sitting around watching my brothers play NES and SNES. I've probably gamed since I could understand the premises behind Super Mario Bros lol. Videogames have not ruined my life in the least bit. I have a very social life with a lot of friends from all over the state. I'm almost a straight A student (I had at least a 3.6 GPA all year this year). With all my pointless ramble being said, I believe that videogame addiction can exist, but not as one on the lines of a drug addiction. The addiction is up to the person to quit at anytime because there are no body altering chemicals. It's all in their head.
  25. Oh man...too many to count. I'll just name a few Hall of fame: The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess Super Smash Bros. Melee Mario Kart 64 Soul Calibur 2 Goldeneye Battlefield 2 Good Games: HL2, BF2142, any C&C game, Civilization 4, Oblivion, Final Fantasy 3, God of War, Super Mario Bros series, and countless others that I can't put a name to right now.
