You can't really go wrong with a $20 game to begin with in my opinion lol. HL2: E1 is definantly worth the buy and as Nadril said, it is only about 5 hours long, but each one is full of FPS greatness.

I say go with a SF server. I've got a list of Vanilla ones that work pretty well, and The Armory's SF server is one of the few that actually run well. Plus I also think it's got a following all ready, it maybe slow to start, but when it gets going it keeps for a while.

This is pretty much the reason I don't watch the news anymore. You basically see things like this that basically shift blame onto something that shouldn't be.

That really doesn't sound like a winning combination...but thats mostly because I don't care for coffee lol.

I'd really like to see the SF server come back. I really prefer the gunfights to the vechicle fights.

Those boards look cool! I've always wanted to get one, but never actually wound up buying one. I think having a really good mouse makes more of a difference though. This is the one I use. I love the ability to switch sensitivity on the fly and having the 2 side buttons mapped out really help.

Yeah I learned how to do it as well. I also learned a little trick to it too. I've seen times when C4 is detinated in mid air, to do this you need to put one pack of C4 down first then throw the other one, then you can switch to your detinator whilst its in the air. Honestly though, I really wouldn't recomend doing this unless you're REALLY good at it or you're on a map like Strike at Karkand.
