  1. Oh for the love of...that's just sad...I don't care if the kid stole 4000 euros worth of virtual furniture. I'm more upset at the people who actually buy that crap! I mean...paying for an MMO is one thing...but this...it's just sad...that's all I have to say.
  2. ...And this is why I decided to stop playing 2142. I didn't even download the new patch. Sorry...off topic, but couldn't resist since it's the same old EA BS that we've complained about for a while now.
  3. I've had this problem before...but on our temporary server, I have a ping of 170 on the average. It's often that I open fire first, but I wind up dying. When I watch the killcam it shows that I didn't even fire a round...sometimes it shows that I didn't even face the person. Again...this is with a fairly high ping. It does happen to me on other servers where I have around a 90 ping, but not as often. The problem could be a mix of hit box detection and lag.
  4. I'd like to see some Headquarters mode on any map. I personally love that game type and not just for the points. It's really crazy when you're the last few trying to defend a HQ while waves of enemies come to kill you. I think it's a really good time. As far as maps...I don't care. I like almost all of them equally.
  5. I voted Sunday night, but I should be able to make anytime except Friday night. It'd be really fun to have another fun night.
  6. They are hard to get. I managed to hit Gator in the head with one when he walked around a corner. It was pretty awesome lol. I'd say this is off topic...but there really isn't a real topic here is there lol.
  7. I've heard of this guy before. He's pretty good just like any other pro gamer.
  8. It's excellent. It's really really hard for me to give a game an amazing rating on any scale due to the fact that there are problems with just about any game. I really enjoy the MP in this game though.

    Umm...
  10. I'm kind of in the middle ground on this debate. I really REALLY like CoD4...I only played it for...oh god...6-7 hours the first day I got it. I really enjoy the fast pace nature of the game. There are times where I get really frustrated because I'm either getting shot in the back or my bullets won't kill someone, but that's the exact same for me in BF2 or 2142. 2142 got to the point for me where it just wasn't fun...plain and simple. It just didn't have that long lasting appeal that BF2 and SF still have for me. CoD4 is something really fresh for me. I'm not good at it by any means. I'm usually at at 1:1 ratio IF I'm lucky. At times I'm at a 1:2 ratio, but that's happened to me in BF a lot so it's not that different. I'll probably be playing CoD4 for a while now that I have it. I might play BF2 of SF from time to time, but I can almost guarantee that I won't play 2142. I might help set up a server, but one round and that's it. It's just not appealing to me anymore.
  11. Hey there Greaph. That's kind of cool to hear when clan members meet in real life. We'll be looking forward to seeing you in game when you get the chance.
  12. The border you have works really nice with the rest of the sig. It looks really spectacular Nadril. I haven't seen a sig with that particular style. I just love how when you look at it, it's a big mess...but everything looks like it should be where it is...just like a composition. Again, nice work as always Nadril!
  13. I believe it's called "Stopping Power." Man...I really wish I had this game already...sounds like loads of fun.
  14. Well...I have not heard a whole lot on the classes as far as defaults. You will be able to make your own classes based on your preferred style of play. You could make a rock solid assault class with certain perks. I'd say that maybe Double Tap, Stopping Power, Extreme Condtitioning (just 3 perks off the top of my head) coupled with some good assault rifles would make an excellent Assault style class. That's just something I made up based on just some of the info that's been flying around. The choices are up to you and that's what's going to make this game amazing! EDIT: Well I guess Rbevan just answered the real question lol .
  15. Wow...I'm not the only person who doesn't care lol.
  16. I have my homepage set the the default Firefox Start Page. I noticed this little thing towards the bottom of the site. http://www.operationfirefox.com/?utm_source=google&utm_medium=button&utm_content=spsnippet1&utm_campaign=ofxstpagesnippet I thought this was cool. It's a contest where you submit an idea for a place in public to put this huge 3.5 foot Firefox sticker. If your idea is selected, they'll send you the sticker and you go out and commit the deed. This kind of reminds me of the Aqua Teen Hunger Force Movie promotion they did where people put up Light Brights all around major cities in the US. I just though I'd share this because I thought it was neat  .
  17. The only time I've been excited to see and Excel spreadsheet lol. Nice find sharp.
  18. Nice one there Cossu! I liked the slo-mo on the kills. I could follow the cross-hair right to the victim's head lol.
  19. Oh man that sounds awesome! Reminds me a little bit of Goldeneye and Perfect Dark for some reason. It just brings back memories of memorizing maps to find the body armor and weapons.

I love it! I've been playing it a lot since I've gotten it. I haven't played too recently because I was gone for a full week and I'm really busy now.
  21. It'll be done when it's done. :D
  22. Wow...I remember hearing about this game years ago. I'm glad to see it's coming out soon. From the sounds and looks of it, it looks like it'll be a good time.
  23. It's released for the 360, PS3, Wii, PC, and PS2 if I remember correctly. Yes, you heard me, the PC. IGN.com has an article on it .
  24. Well, I'm back from my week long venture to Indianapolis, Indiana...and let me say I'm exhausted. It was one heck of a time. I'm going to take a little bit of time to outline what went on daily. There's a fairly decent list lol. Monday - Leave at 6:30 AM to Waterloo, Iowa. After driving a large amount of hours we finally arrive in Waterloo. This is one of the least eventful days of the trip...it was mostly spent driving. Tuesday - Went for a tour of the John Deere Assembly Line Plant in Waterloo. This is the place where John Deere assembles their tractors and other pieces of equipment. Not a bad time...pretty interesting to see these things put together. Left Waterloo around noon and arrived in Indy around 9 PM EST. Basically got our hotel rooms and waited for the next day. Wednesday - Spent most of the day at the RCA Dome, Convention Center, and mall since all 3 are close to each other. Basically went and did things convention related that day. Thursday - Longest day of the week. Woke up at 5:15AM in order to catch buses to the place that our contest was held at. The Dairy Foods contest started at 8:30 AM and didn't get over until 1 PM. Later that night, I was fortunate enough to have boughten a ticket to see The Beach Boys w/ John Stamos at the RCA Dome that night. It was an awesome concert. Friday - Not a whole lot happened during the day. We went to Xtreme Bulls at 9 PM. This was a rodeo sponsored by Dodge that had the 40 best bull riders in the world compete. It was pretty good, and I'm not the biggest rodeo fan. Saturday - Had what was called an "Awards Breakfast" at 8:30 AM. There we were fed and the awards for our contest were announced. I can not remember my individual placing, but our team placed 15th out of 33 other state winning teams...so we did pretty well. After the breakfast, we loaded up and left for Rogers, MN where we would stay the night. We got to drive by Chicago and see the skyline of the skyscrapers. That was pretty nifty. Sunday (today) - Left Rogers, MN at 7 AM, drove, stopped a few times here and there, and arrived back home around 4 PM. Glad to be back lol. Well...that was an outline of what I did this week while I was gone. If you read all that...I'm impressed lol. I don't know why I wanted to type all this, but I just felt like it.
  25. I'm not going to be around at all this week. I'm going to Indianapolis for the National FFA Convention. I get to go for free because my teammates and I won a contest at the State level (meaning we were the best in the state). I was a part of the Dairy Foods contest, which is basically judging milk for quality, identifying cheeses, and other things. If we do really well there are scholarships involved so I'm really hoping for something good! Anyways, thought I'd let you all know that I won't be back until about Sunday.
