If he ever takes it back from me, I have my 19" CRT in the closet. I could use that if needed. But the prospect of a widescreen 20 inch is pretty nice. HM! ESKIMO MAYBE GENIOUS

Well, I still have Windows XP around here, so if I dislike it (and I plan on it!), I'll just roll it back to XP. I loved CoD 1 & 2. My current computer can't play 3. So I look forward to 4!

Sorry, I forgot the graphics card: 128MB nVidia GeForce 8300 GS Which I assume is integrated, yes? It does offer three upgrades: But remember, I have to keep it under $1000, and it's already over! (I editted the OP for clarification)

Now, we found an advertisment for the Dell XPS 410 at $1099. She's willing to do that, and I think it's a fine machine. What I need from you is confirmation! Will I be able to game sufficiently with this computer? Married, moved, new job. Old computer, no new games, can't run the good stuff, still playing CS:S at 5fps. But that's for another thread! No hijacking!

I used to have Hamachi set up with some friends around the world. We had our iTunes shared, as well as some specific folders we knew the others would enjoy.
