About this date one year will be passing since i didnt want to study to egzams so i dug out HL and installed a mod that friend said was good, the FA. A lot of things happened since then. But the FA from being a game, which could be played 24/7 became something that gets boring after aproximately 30 minutes of playing.Im talking about predictability. All maps tend to end in 2 different ways based on which team has advantage. Especially now, when 60% of each team sport assault sniper rifles and the 60% of the rest have 200-bullet wrecking machine. All maps end like this: one team presses, other falls back but ALWAYS to the same choke points. Even on large maps like thanatos, where such things should not happen, they do. It gets REALLY boring.Only bright point comes up when fantastic players like mac/unfor/C/Low/SACKed or others like these join for they can dodge all bullets regardless of number of snipers/mgs and kill all in one clip of any weapon (preferably uzi). But they hack obviously. AND they show up rarely for the game to be really exciting.It is not anymore.Once i rushed home just to play FA. Now sometimes, when i dont want to study i dont know what to do (usually sleep/eat).Its not fun killing people when you know whey tere are in the first place. Only challange there is is to actually kill them but forehand knowledge ruins that experience.Im bored..........

Im too lazy to work.I have enough work to do in physics lab to look for work, even summer time.

Geez that makes little sense, but i had litle time to write it. If it is not-understandable, i will try to write it again when i have time...

Toxxys, i have a question for your dad. If my friend will not know the answer to this he can fail his laboratories.When we have a monocrystal and we light it with laser beam we get a difraction image on screen - dots making rectangles as per Miller Signs. But when we want to get real image by inserting additional lens, we get the same image only turned by PI/2. WHY ?Is this some monocrystal speciality ?

I think i will be in MIT or Berkeley in some time in the future. From what i heard the level is kinda low there :wink:

Some proofs are easy. I mostly hate proofs that begin with words: "We operate in space of Hilbert/Banach/whomever else", becouse they require the perfect knowledge of operations available in that space and i can NEVER remember what are those. That means using some clever trick-of-the-trade and i never know what is that.

I regard math as a tool. A tool to use for solving problems of physics. I really dont like the math-proofs, although they sometimes come inhandy.

So tell me bullet, what have you had that you think math is too muchfor you ?My most recent math experience was linear operators and bozon/fermion creators/anihilators. Easy stuff...

THEORY:At the signup you had to give yourself a rating. I have chosen '1' so maybe its weighting low votes less and high votes more (using gauss perhaps?).

My score is 7.6 so far, but as a physicist (not physician i think) i can tell you that either the calculator is crappy or they not treat all votes equal. Thats becouse i have most votes on 1,2,3 and THERE is no possibility for it to give 7+ average. All i can tell you now, that it isnt arythmetical average.
