I found my way into all animes the same that i did with most movies. Through music. Liked the music -> loved the move. The same is with anime.....

All i hit is main hall and theres yer post......

I forgot to add Vision of Escaflowne OVA to my fav animes. Yet another love story......

Youre wrong on most part. Some animes are made specially for children. BUT anime is defined as being mostly for adults. For only they can understand them.

Also dont forget that thats the beauty of it. These are fairy tales, most of them. Remember my Matrix comparison ? IT IS BASED ON JAPANESE ANIME....

Yes, but you need to understand the richness of the backplots. The story is based on real Qmran Scrolls found in the vicinity of Dead Sea.You need to know much about the theology and such to understand it fully. I, having taken lessons of theology, unwrapped some mysteries but to some im still in the blank.

How many did you see ? None ? I bet that many.Thats the problem. Most people talk somethin is crap even without seeing it.

As for childness in some animes. You need to understand them. Merely watching will get you bored and youll say its crap. I agree some animes are worthless becouse they contain nothing of value or its too shallow or too sweet.But when you watch some animes, they can seem piece'a'......, but if youre smart and you figure them out, they become very pleasant.Example from my own experience:I HATE romantic movies. They make me sick literally. BUT some anime love stories are not only bearable but also very pleasant in watching, drawing in to the plot (i.e. Hand Maid May, Onegai Teacher).

Yes, its hilarious sometimes (if you can understand the meaningless of the series), but its 18+ only :wink:And the plot is different a little: He buys a computer unknowing that it is a girl.

I, for myself, am obsessed (lightly) with anime.Reasons:#1 Graphics - need i comment ?#2 Directing - motion control, motion capture and camera control are THE BEST. Normal movies can go hide themselves in the deepest pile of junk. BTW Matrix directing is BASED on ANIME. The 'BulletTime' is taken directly from it.#3 Music - PERFECTION, especially Kanno Yoko.#4 Seyiuu - cast. Hayashibara Megumi and Sakamoto Maaya are the best out there.#5 Japanese language - i hate dubs. There was ONLY ONE dub i liked more than than original japanese version.#6 The rest of things i didnt mentionMy fav:Neon Genesis EvangelionRecord of Lodoss War OVAOnegai TeacherTrigunButtobi CPU (a lil' ecchi, but funny nonetheless)Hand Maid MayStuff in grey zone:Sailor Moon (plot and story sucks, but graphics is good and music is one of the best ever written for anime)I hate:PokemonDragonBallGundamAkira
