lol dang 38% free hd space .........id reformat.when u get your new computer use the old one for everything but gaming and just game on the new one.STAY AWAY FROM PORN SITES..they mess up your registry and that slows your puter down drastically.not to mention u can get a virus from just goin to a porn web site.

also do a disk clean up and defragif all those options fail do a reformat.make sure to have all your software tho.sounds like you just need to maintanance it.

i got my to work by installing half life and its updates then FA and its updates then install steam.If it doesnt work just unistall steam and reinstall it .its always worked the second time for me

I get some of those errors sometimes.FA crashes in the middle of a map and give that error to me.and sometimes it just boots me to my desktop.i figured it was just some steam bugs not worked out yet cause it doesnt happen very often but when it does its usually when the server is running the crates map, rubble or iwojima

When i ran my own clan and server i had the map cycle set up with 14 maps at all times.I rotated big map then small map to try and keep everyone happy.since not everyone likes the same maps.

i have the gforce 5200 256 mb and it run just marvelous.o duh i got a 2.8 pentium 4 with 1 gig ram lol maybe thats why i dont lag rofl

Ripper posted a topic to edit a couple of files. i did this and it improved my game severly.the lag seemed to totally disappear,except for the very rare lag spike(VERY RARE)I bet these files are conflicting with the way the server runs in general, i would definitly suggest for everyone to edit them and watch the lag go bye bye the files are :fa29 and hllog.....erase everything in these files and mark them as read only. i bet if you do this to the server files it will help alot also.

LOL fatman,I been practicing the knife alot lately. I use to be rly good at knifinseems im gettin my mojo back with it also.I think its the machete model i use...its so easy to judge the wackin on the head lol. and if u tap your sprint button right u can get 1 hit kills pretty easily.

I would remove remove all your sound card drivers and try reinstalling them. try installing and using the onboard sound. and if you use an off board sound card you may have to go into your cmos settings and disable the onboard audio the offboard to work properly.sounds like the 2 drivers for the different cards are conflicting.i had and audigy at 1 time and had problems with it from the git go.i was told to switch to the sound blaster live 5.1 so i did and i have been a happy camper since.Not to mention a new sound blaster live 5.1 is only 35 bucks.

i have played just about all the 3rd party maps they got..unless they are very recent.all them are for the most part pretty good.excluding a few of course.ill be happy with what ever gator decides as a map cycle.i like them ALL
