  3. Denali National Park in the heart of Alaska you'll find some of the most beautiful scenery around. Its larger than some states in the US, and of course its home to Mount McKinley. I loved hiking there and they do have all the amenities at hand if your not into roughing it . You could also visit my mom's hometown while in Alaska its Kotzebue 25 miles north of the Arctic circle and 50 miles from Russia they usually have a big festival around the July 4th so thats usually the best time to go there. AND NO ITS NOT FORTY BELOW AND BLOWING SNOW IN THE SUMMER ITS IN THE 70's
  4. <TAC>Eskimo long story
  5. no you do not have to use gamespy i dislike it too. there is a built in game browser.
  6. it took a little coaxing to setup but after that it ran very well on my system and i only have a 1.8Ghz cpu and 768MB memory I WAS worried that it would run, but badly. It ran very smoothly and I want to thank Gator and the others for there great and hard work that they've put in to set us up a server and getting us the DL's...
  7. haven't had a client 57 but have crashed to desktop twice!!
  8. in case you are wondering yes it is because of the problems with the G5 as to why they are moving to intel chips. the IBM powerpc cpu's reached its pinnacle as far as speed they couldn't get anything over 3Ghz without overheating even with the liquid cooling system that the G5's were using. Don't worry the Mac's will probably still be mostly proprietary. They're saying you could probably run Microsoft windows on the new machines but you still wont be able to run OSX on a PC. It's only smart business that I see...
  9. You know i thought microsoft's antispy was doing a great job but apparently not. my system was riddled with malware and lots just wouldn't clean out so i did a re-install of everything. I know I got slack on my own preachings but dont forget to use Spybot s&d and ad-aware too, or you'll be sorry!!!!!!
  10. I know my vid can take it but i only have 1.8 amd 768pc2100 memory and am starting to have doubts? hopefully the demo will subside those doubts.
