Try updating your video driver to latest drivers. Also, make sure you're not running any video related utilities. I found this on united admins site where CD is setup and maintained now. I hope this helps!!!

I believe he means make a shortcut to your hl2 executable I guess hl2.exe it should be in your halflife2 directory. Once you made your shortcut on your desktop right click choose properties you'll see a line called target at the end of what is typed there you add "-applaunch 220 -game hl2mp -console" then click on apply then click OK then all you have to do is click on your new shortcut and play. :roll: 8)

Maxthon is the better of the IE based browsers. I t has alot of features including security settings that IE alone can not handle. Mozilla and Opera are great alternatives the later is what I use. But after testing, all 3 of these browsers are alot better than just using the standard IE.

I'm not sure what laws Canada has but I do know here in the U.S. for example I can buy a permit here in Georgia and fish of the shores of both Alabama, Florida, and South Carolina within a certain distance Canada may Have the same thing from province to province but if its all in the same province I am not sure if there is anything against it other than ethical reasons.
