-OK...I am, by no stretch of the imagination, a moderate player (skill wise)... :banana: even Klink has my tags (poke poke:D)... ...Now...the rant... -On Giblet, there will be a car heading for Cent Camp and Ruins...On Belgrade, the team that holds Statue has a large advantage, On Cerbere Landing, Roadblock then Comm will be rushed along with a flank on church, On a titan, defenders will flank behind the reactor room and take it back, and on and on and on... :D-NO ONE takes precautions against these, But people go out of their way to get points...say for instance...camping a beacon! Destroy it and move on, one could argue 'but, it keeps a squad out of commission for a short time' and they would be half right, but it is two squads not doing anything. Maybe if the winning team received 10-15 points...well, people with a team score of 5+ and a total score of 8+, so you have to DO something to get them. Even better have those two figures go off of rank, so newbies get 5 or so points just for playing but high rankers need 10+ and 20+ but get 30 points...bah, whatever, nothing changes... -Another good one...attacking as a spread force across the entire front...OMG! Pick one point, hit it em mass and accomplish something...here is a good one for ya "Don't spend time beating on a wall, hoping to transform it into a door.", no it is not Sun Tzu...it is Coco Chanel (yes, the inventor of Chanel No. 5), even she has a clue...lol -anywho, I had a lot of stuff to say, points to make, and pokes at Klink...but aside from the last one, it is pointless...I might hop on from time to time, but I am cutting back heavily on Battlefield. -I will be on the forums waiting for the next pile of EA vomit to be spewed forth and swallowed by the gaming community...but as a plea, somebody...please find a new game for us...

-It is a poor state of affairs, but it is hard to control as well. If a kid can not get a gun his uncle might have one around. The government will be unwilling to fund metal detectors and some sort of ISF in EVERY SINGLE SCHOOL...we got that war ya know . This is an issue that will not be solved, ever. Theories are nice on paper, but nothing is foolproof, lets face it we have some skilled fools in this great U.S. of ours. It is a sad truth, and hard for most to accept. Crisis management is how we operate here, preventive measures cost money and may never be used (capitalism at its worst). -Example, SitRep, whateva' : there are 19,000+ high schools alone in the US (National Center for Education Statistics). I would suspect it would cost millions to cover them all adequately (assumed at a few thousand per school, sans upkeep costs). There is an average of five school shootings, with multiple victims, per year (2004 NY Times, close as I could find). In the spenders eyes (yes...the ones that spend our tax money) this would be a huge waste of recourses that could be "better spent elsewhere". 5 of 19000 is what the people we vote for call "acceptable losses". Again, sad truth. -I believe a fair amount of people do not agree with what the government does (regardless of political affiliations). Our government is supposed to be ...for the people, by the people... (Gettysburg Address -Abraham Lincoln)...I think something might be wrong... -end rant- -If I am mistaken on any points, please correct me. (I am only half perfect you know ) -------------------------------- Just an addition for those who may not know the second amendment. A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed. -side note: is it still "necessary"?...(shall not be infringed...there is the kicker)
