Normally if you are taking pictures of your mod, wouldn't you like it to look as polished as possible? They should take pictures of the map, not the models (which are the centerpoint in each of the pictures). Other than that, I don't really care for DoD. It was fun for a bit, but not nearly as fun as other games. I'm not paying for that.

Umm... as I see it, you have posted a TON of posts about the Firearms stats. It's gotta be like, 2 a month. It's not really a big deal, a simple PM would suffice.

The FA team doesn't want FA to go Source, becuase "they will lose community members" for THEIR mod, so they are going to go all legal if they don't change their name. However, the mappers have given the team many FA maps, which will not be exactly the same, but this mod will be EXTREMELY similar to FA. www.junglemistmod.net Looks like an OK mod, being made by some really cool old timer FA dudes, and more. It's going to be beautiful, they've got a crazily good modeller. Those are what I'm looking into.

Problem is, DoD, for those who didn't buy HL2 off of steam, wasn't included. And there is NO way they are making me spend like, $50 for some mod.

I got my eyes checked today, they said something like -4.75 each eye, and I can't see anything clear enough to read until it's right up near my face, and it just keeps on getting worse :\

Why don't we put fines on internet connections, because that aids the transfer, and don't forget phone lines, people could play a song and they MIGHT hear it in the background. Oh don't forget about the radio, it's gotta go. They play the songs and I don't have to pay ANYTHING!

Wish I could get that treatment, contacts tend to get scratchy and sore after about 10 hours, and I usually want to be able to see clearly longer than that. My glasses tend to get really dirty, and aren't up to my vision, so watching the TV is a pain in the eyes

Which games, like, Half-Life: Source, DoD:Source, etc? If you bought the game in the retail box (without all the merchendise crap) I don't think you can get these games. I'm in the same dilemma (sp?).

When you open up your CS:S, hit the ~ key, and open the console. Then type in "viewdemo <demoname>", and you should be good. If not it's playdemo, but try viewdemo first.

Are you guys porting The Trenches? It was done beautifully for HL1, I can only imagine how nice it would look in the HL2 engine. -e- After reading on the website, all I can say is "SWEET" (in other words, they are :o )
