hmm...a stupid problem has a stupid solution...I was looking for some cool new skins (to replace my now dull Matrix revolutions skin) and found really cool one. I downloaded it and turned it on. And suddenly, everything seemed to work perfectly, except when the server loads between maps it sometimes freezesCould skins change the process of Steam? In this situation, the answer is yes...

not reallypeople are easily forgetting that the m82 can still be used when crouching...or even standing (though it is EXTREMLY hard to snipe with it when standing)

I start up Steam and click on the games tab.so, I feel like some DoD...I click on DoD and wait...and wait...and wait for exactly 35 minutes...it just constantly looks like:Preparing to play Day of Defeat...it doesn't freeze or anything, just constantly 'prepares' day of defeat.Ok watever. It's now or never for them and I really see this as one of their biggest flaws. Hey, wat do you know, I might even start to be Anti-American. I'm downloading the steaminstalls for each game (steaminstall_cs.exe steaminstall_tfc.exe steaminstall_dod.exe) and I'm going to try and put those back in. Then I'll reinstall FA 2.8

There are no games in the My Games list.I just got the patch which goes back to the old patch before the buggy one...I tried to join and game and it said the game was unavalible (it said this for all the mods) So I exit Steam, eat supper, come back and there are no games in the My Games list.When i try to join a server (say a CS server) it says:Shared Binaries will use 16mb of disk.Steam will now acquire (download) all of the required contentugh?
