Please got to your HUD settings and go to big notifications and change this to full. you will not be notified when you go out of bounds. Second, go to ADS and turn that on. Now when you aim down sights or through a scope, you will able to identify friendly team mates.

  5. A couple news stories about what EA is up to. EA to Acquire Respawn Entertainment Leading Development Studio Brings Top Talent & Award-Winning Titanfall IP to EA’s Portfolio http://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20171109006677/en/EA-Acquire-Respawn-Entertainment EA may no longer release 'Madden' or 'FIFA' every year https://www.engadget.com/2017/11/09/ea-may-skip-yearly-sports-releases/
  6. The only way to show them is to not buy from them. Activision is starting to wake up to the fact that they are missing out on PC market money. EA knows that 1/3 of their income comes from PC sales. I can not wait to see SWBF2 fail and for DISNEY to drop the Star Wars ip from EA. That will cost EA billions.
  7. yeah, we need to try the 6 play start again. The RSP has been bugged the last week. I was told everything is back to like it was a week ago. So it might be working again. We can kick and move players again.
  8. https://www.battlefield.com/news/update-notes/operation-campaigns-update NEW: OPERATION CAMPAIGNS When we’re running an active campaign, you’ll be greeted by a slightly different user interface on the Operation globe screen. The Operation Campaign tracker, located at the bottom right corner of the screen, will indicate which Operations are part of the active campaign, the necessary cumulative score you need to unlock your reward, and the amount of time remaining before the active campaign ends. You’ll also notice a small star on particular Operation icons, signifying that it is part of the active campaign. Participate in these Operations and your end of round score will be applied toward the progress of unlocking a Battlepack reward. PTFO to maximize your score, but be sure to stick around until the end of the match to have it applied toward your progress. Try to unlock as many rewards as you can before the active campaign expires. awesome you got to like that!
  13. I guess I have gotten under the skin of Siriland today. There has been some back and forth dialogue. At one point i just said, "what do I know about sales and protecting my brand"
  14. Well you all see the info that I have recieved. The shit will hit the fan at DICE if or when the sales figures come out to DISNEY and they are not better than SWBF1. DICE and Ea are hoping the 5v5 incursions will be the new ESL league. LOL it is going to be another game mode that no one wants to play. They already shit down VISCERAL. DICE employees are running scared and leaving and no one is taking them up on their offer with 50 job openings.
  15. Developer DICE has announced that Nivelle Nights--a Battlefield 1 map previously exclusive to owners of the Premium Pass or the They Shall Not Pass expansion--is going free for everyone. The map is set at night time in northern France, and will be going free on PS4, Xbox One, and PC in "early November." "Early November" will also see the start of Battlefield 1's new Operations Campaigns. The first, called Eastern Storm is coming very soon, combining In the Name of the Tsar's Brusilov Offensive and Red Tide Operations into one Campaign. Looking ahead, a new DLC pack, called Turning Tides, is slated for an initial release sometime this December. It will include two new maps (Cape Helles and Achi Baba), two vehicles (the L-Class Destroyer and L-Class Airship), a new Elite class (the Infiltrator), a new Operation (Gallipoli), and new specializations, service assignments, and unlocks. A month later, we'll get two more maps (Heligoland Bight and Zeebrugge) and a new faction, the British Royal Marines. Turning Tides is the third major DLC pack for Battlefield 1 to date, with the Apocalypse expansion still to come in "early" 2018. In the meantime, check out everything in the latest Battlefield 1 update. https://www.gamespot.com/articles/this-battlefield-1-dlc-map-is-available-for-free-f/1100-6454544/ DLC sales are down a lot. Now the stuff we already paid for they are giving away and we still have not received all the DLC's yet. This game is sinking faster than the titanic.
  16. During EA’s 2018 financials report, a lot of topics were touched upon, and one of them is the next Battlefield game from DICE! While the studio is hard at work onStar Wars Battlefront II, EA is already looking into the future, as is the norm when it comes to financial discussion, and it seems Battlefield 2018 is indeed a very real possibility, EA executive Blake Jorgensen talked about the the publisher’s earnings and whatnot, and mixed in with all that, it was mentioned that the next Battlefieldgame will be released in fiscal 2019, which is between April 2018 and March 2019. "The core of our fiscal 2019 is a full slate of sports titles and their associated live services, plus new live services from Star Wars Battlefront II. We will add the next Battlefield game, and move into the action genre with Anthem. We expect our subscriber base to continue to grow, and for our new mobile titles to benefit from players looking for deeper experiences with higher production values." Given the usual release schedule of the past Battlefield games, chances are high that we’ll see the next Battlefield title be released in its usual October release window. Unless EA decides to have it out during the first quarter of 2019, which is highly unlikely given the publisher would want its biggest game of the year to be released during the busy holiday, gift-giving season. Umm, SWBF and BF1 are on the same engine as SWBF2 which mean BF2018 will be on the same current engine. Look for Pay to play.

  20. https://arstechnica.com/gaming/2017/10/ea-shuts-down-fan-run-servers-for-older-battlefield-games/ EA's older Battlefield titles were a victim of the 2014 GameSpy shutdown, which disabled the online infrastructure for plenty of classic PC and console games. To get around that, Revive was distributing modified versions of the older Battlefield titles along with a launcher that allowed access to its own, rewritten server infrastructure. The process started with Battlefield 2 in 2014 and expanded to Battlefield 2142 last year, and Battlefield Heroes a few month ago. It's the distribution of modified copies of these now-defunct games that seems to have drawn the ire of EA's legal department. "Please stop distributing copies of our game clients and using our trademarks, logos, and artwork on your sites," EA's counsel writes in a note republished on the Revive website. "Your websites may easily mislead visitors to believe that you are associated or affiliated with EA—we're the only ones that get to wear the 'Official EA' dog tag." Revive claimed over 900,000 registered accounts across its games, including nearly 175,000 players for the recently revived Battlefield Heroes. EA's approach is the polar opposite to that of Disney, which recently worked with GOG to officially bring back online multiplayer support for classic Star Wars Battlefront 2. The move is more reminiscent of Blizzard, which has recently shut down numerous fan servers devoted to restoring classic versions of World of Warcraft as it existed a decade ago. In 2015, the Librarian of Congress denied a request by the EFF and others that would have allowed Revive's method of restoring online gameplay to "abandoned" games under a DMCA exception. Game publishers and trade groups fought hard against that request, with ESA president Mike Gallagher arguing that "there's no such thing as an obsolete game when you can revive it on any platform at any time" in an Ars interview. The Library of Congress can take up the issue again in 2018.
  21. Great story about what went wrong at Visceral https://kotaku.com/the-collapse-of-viscerals-ambitious-star-wars-game-1819916152 The very same thing is going on at DICE right now.
  22. Was just on a server and saw the automated FairFight ban message. This time is said "FairFight Has Issued 6217 Bans in 24 Hours". Really? According to BF1stats.com, in the last 24 hours there was a peak of around 26,500 PC players. Which means, if the FairFight ban message is ACTUALLY true, it would indicate that around 23%-24% of the PC players out there are cheating? Hmmmmm. Maybe it's not that far-fetched to think so.
