  1. I have been running the extra layer of security for over a year now just because of this. The pin number is always changing every minute.
  2. Battlefield 2018 (WWII) All leaked info as of now. (24, December, 2017) Campaign * Will focus on an American squad in WWII * Will have different perspectives of different soldiers that will link together to form the story Mechanics * Pretty much slightly improved BF1 mechanics * Behemoths will return * Presumably micro destruction similar to BF1 Gunplay * Very similar to BF1, possibly a toned down random bullet deviation adjustment. (Sometimes bullets will go off target) * Prototype weapons will make a return. Like how the Automatico wasn’t used in WWI, but rather made during WWI. Except this time it’s the WWII time era. Melee * No more bayonet charging, but you can still use a bayonet on a weapon that allows for one to be equipped. * Most likely going to be almost identical to BF1, but there could be minor adjustments made. Vehicles * Vehicle play will be more similar to BF4, but will keep some aspects from BF1. * No more auto repair * Tankers can control the main aspects of their tanks now without having to share with other players. * Transport vehicles of course will be similar to BF1 and BF4 * Dogfighting and planes will be much more competitive than BF1, but not as much as BF4. * Planes are faster than BF1, but not as fast BF4. Customization * Soldier customization will make a return * On your soldier you can change patterns and colors, that’s about it. Very similar to BF4. * No planned facial customization. * Weapons will be more customizable than BF1, but less customizable than BF4. * Similar loadout customization to BF4. * I believe that specific weapons will only be able to be used with specific factions until you hit a certain level. (For example; the MP40 is German. You can’t use the MP40 with any other faction until you hit a certain level or meet a certain requirement that is needed.) Maps * Maps are designed very similar to BF1 in a sense they are very big and open without a definitive boundary to them. * Most likely going to be primarily made for Conquest. * At least 10 base maps. (That’s one more than BF1 and CoD:WWII at launch) Censorship and Controversy * Swastikas will be in the game. But you will primarily see the Iron Cross instead. (For example, the swastika can be seen on a German soldier, but not on the flags) * Gore will be on par with BF1 * There will be females, and also other people of ethnic groups. Will probably be like BF1 with females as Russian snipers. Also like how black men are German scouts. DLC and Microtransactions * Will use similar BF1 system of DLC. Basically buy a season pass and get access to future maps with minor bonuses included. * Strictly cosmetic only. ——— Battlefield 2019 (BFBC3) All leaked info as of now (28, December, 2017) Campaign * Will see the return of the original Bad Company squad * Will have Vietnam flashbacks in between each mission; similar to BO2 with going back to the past and back to near future * Will continue BFBC2’s story (Russian invasion of Alaska) * Campaign will allow for both Vietnam and Cold War maps Mechanics * Destruction very similar to BFBC2. Will use the BF1 destruction engine and overhaul it to allow emulation of destruction on par with BFBC2. * No behemoths or scripted levolution * Theoretically, levolution will be in the game as players can virtually destroy almost anything they want to. * Bullet drop will be a large focus on gunplay * Prone mechanic will be introduced to BFBC3 Gunplay * As previously stated, bullet drop will be a large focus of gunplay * Gunplay will be much more skill-oriented * Similar to BFBC2 but also having strong similarities to BF4’s gunplay. Vehicles * No planes or jets * Helicopters will be the only known of air vehicles * Mostly focused on transport vehicles * Tanks will be in the game, just not as a large focus point Customization * Will have a lot of customization compared to BF1 and BFBC2 * Possibly will be on par with BF4 customization and maybe even offer a little more options * Soldier customization will be a more central focus of the customization system Maps * More focused for the Rush gamemode * More close quarters oriented; similar to BFBC2 * Will span across both Vietnam and the Cold War settings * Will launch with 10 base maps Gore * Gore will remain mild * Similar to BF4 Microtransactions and DLC * Battlepacks will be cosmetic * No word on premium yet
  3. Merry Xmas
  4. This was a decent movie. It was like Lord of the rings meets the last watch.
  5. Oh yeah, they won't be able to use cheats! I hope they come here first! More points for me!!!
  6. I am on vacation starting tomorrow. This is one on my watch list
  7. Reminds me of the tv series Alien Nation
  8. I am curious. This can be any type of game or genre. As of right now, I do not see anything good coming out. Obviously that could all change. I have the most hope for Battlefield 2018 but I do not plan on pre-ordering it or really even buying it when it becomes available.
  9. OK, I am just curious and would really like everyone to participate. What game are you playing the most right now? What is your 2nd most played game? I am playing Tom Clancy Ghost Recon Wildland Ghost War mode the most (PvP). I kind of just stopped playing BF1. I have not played and of the 3rd DLC at all.
  10. Yeah and how many games DISNEY closed down...Hmmmm
  11. ‘Star Wars’ Game ‘Battlefront’ Profits TANK After Angry Gamers Rebel Against Pay-To-Play | The Daily Caller DAILYCALLER.COM The company that makes popular "Star Wars" games faces reduced profits after a pay-to-win scandal, according to a Thursday report. Read that article about EA financial trouble. It is all just starting. On the orign play store, SWBF2 is already $35 there. They can not seem to give it away. I Think there are going to be more and more leaks coming about the next shooter. EA can not afford any more bad games. Frankly, I have lost all faith in them. Even in the leaks, they are not talking about server support. It is all just hype to get people that are pissed at EA and DICE to get them to look at them again.

Let’s put all those sucky things into a big list. Kirk Hamilton This year, some things were unexpectedly good. But a lot of things sucked, too. Let’s put all those sucky things into a big list. As we do every year at Kotaku, it’s time to take a look back on the highs and lows of the last 12 months. Today, we’ll focus on the lows. (See: the biggest disappointments of 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016.) We posted the best surprises or 2017 yesterday, so now it’s time for sadness! Unexpected dismay! Busted, buggy games! The Best Video Game Surprises Of 2017 This year, a lot of things sucked. But a lot of things were also unexpectedly good! Let’s celebrate … With input from the rest of Kotaku’s staff, here are the biggest video game disappointments of 2017. Mass Effect Andromeda is a big ol’ mess. In retrospect, it probably should’ve been a warning sign that, in the months leading up to Mass Effect Andromeda, so many of us kept forgetting there was a new Mass Effect game coming out. When it finally did come out, Andromeda was a let-down. A well intentioned game with an interesting narrative setup, it appeared to have been rushed through development because, as it turned out,it was indeed rushed through development. Bugs and weird animations can be smoothed out in a patch. Half-baked storytelling and dull, filler missions are harder to fix, particularly when the studio responsible for the game is all but closed, there’s no single-player DLC coming, and the Mass Effect series itself has been put on ice for the time being. The Nintendo Switch lacks basic features. The Switch is a nifty console, and it had a hell of a first year overall. It also launched with a stripped-down operating system not just lacking Nintendo’s trademark charm; it’s also lacking crucial features. Most egregious of those is the fact that nine months later you still can’t backup your saves, and breaking your Switch still means you might lose all your progress. But there’s also the lack of any sort of Virtual Console, or the fact that online chat runs through a phone app. Nintendo’s new console is easy to like, but it’d be even easier to like if it wasn’t still missing such basic stuff. Loot Boxes and microtransactions are everywhere. You know what people don’t like? Being constantly tempted to pay extra in a game they just paid full price for. You know what they really don’t like? Being tempted to pay extra for a randomized loot box in a game they just paid full price for. You know what they really, really don’t like? Being tempted to pay extra for a randomized loot box that gives competitive advantages in a multiplayer game they just paid for. You know what they really, really, really… okay, you get it. Fall of 2017 was when loot box madness took over the world of video games. Each month there was a new controversy, be it over NBA2K18, Shadow of War, Destiny 2 or of course, Star Wars: Battlefront II. Here’s a wild idea: If video game publishers need to find new ways to make extra money off of their customers, they should probably figure out a way to do it that doesn’t use psychological casino tricks to exploit the people most excited about their games. 4K gaming still isn’t all that impressive. Last year, the PS4 Pro failed to set our eyeballs on fire with its promise of higher-resolution HDR gaming. This year, Microsoft’s overhyped Xbox One X showed up with four stables of additional horsepower and, yet again, failed to blow us away. Sure, a 4K HDR TV looks better than a 1080p TV. But it’s nothing like the leap from standard definition to HD screens 10 years ago. Meanwhile the Nintendo Switch had one of the best years a console’s ever had, all while running games at 720p in handheld mode and occasionally sub-1080p docked. For all the noisy hype leading up to their release, both the PS4 Pro and the Xbox One X already feel much like 4K TVs themselves: just something to get when the good-enough thing you already have breaks and/or it’s on sale. Whee. EA shuts down Visceral and cancels their big Star Wars game. It’s easy to blame Bad Guy EA for shutting Dead Space studio Visceral Games and cancelling their in-development single-player Star Wars game. But once you’ve read the full story, a more nuanced tale unfolds. If “Ragtag” wasn’t exactly doomed from the start, it was certainly doomed from pretty early on. That was for a variety of reasons, which makes it hard to say how things could have worked out differently. But none of that makes it any less disappointing that we’ll never get to play an Amy Hennig-directed “Star Wars Uncharted” game about a space heist gone wrong. Speaking of the Star Wars video game curse... Star Wars Battlefront II, in general. ...yeah, Battlefront II. EA, DICE, and EA’s new Motive studio had a clear mandate after 2015’s popular but flawed return to the massive multiplayer battles of Battlefront. EA announced the sequel would have a single-player story, and that there would be no season pass: instead players would get new maps and other stuff for free throughout the game’s lifespan. There was a catch, of course, and that catch wound up tarnishing the game’s legacy for all time. Battlefront II’s onerous loot box system infuriated gamers across the internet, to the point that aggrieved fan feedback prompted EA to temporarily remove all microtransactions from their game. It’s still not clear what that’ll look like when it returns, and until it does, it’ll hang over Battlefront II like a lightsaber of Damocles. The game may be fun enough in the short term, but the sour taste of its initial design lingers. Disney unceremoniously kills Marvel Heroes. Marvel Heroes never really reached the potential that the “Marvel Diablo” elevator pitch promised, but that doesn’t mean it deserved to go out like it did. Plenty of people still really liked the game, and after its port to consoles earlier this year, some had even recently made substantial in-game purchases. But one day in November, Disneyended their relationship with Marvel Heroes studio Gazillion Entertainment, effectively killing the game. It was also the end for Gazillion itself, as the studiolaid off its entire staff on Thanksgiving Eve. Since then we learned that Gazillion had been having trouble for a while, which which is why employees received no PTO or unpaid vacation time after they lost their jobs. Just a mess from top to bottom.
  14. PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds Finally Comes Out For Real KOTAKU.COM PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, the glitchy but charismatic survival shooter that has averaged over one million players in early access, is finally seeing a full release. It’s been a long, wild ride for the genre-defining hit, and with Battlegrounds updating to 1.0 at 2 am ET tomorrow, that ride’s not even close to over. The last-man-standing game has seen a whirlwind of success since its early access release in March. Its developer, Brendan “PlayerUnknown” Greene, was an Arma 2 modder who, inspired by the movie Battle Royale, made a proto-Battlegrounds called DayZ: Battle Royale. He later worked on the popular H1Z1: King of the Hill and then released the standalone game we know today, Battlegrounds. The game attracted a devoted audience fast with its amazingly meme-able play, which thrived on Twitch (and on Kotaku’s Highlight Reel). In two months, Battlegrounds sold two million copies. Its servers are still wobbly. It’s still full of glitches. Its devotees don’t care—they just love the adrenaline rush that comes with watching 100 people gradually dwindle to one last winner, who gets to see the coveted screen declaring “Winner, Winner, Chicken Dinner.” Battlegrounds is a multifaceted game, to say the least. Every playstyle goes. Its capacity for improvisation and on-your-heels creativity—like the squad who infiltrated a pack of 20 enemies in their underwear—has made internet celebrities, like Dr. Disrespect, over and over. It’s also attracting a blossoming, and very flawed, esports scene. Earlier this month, Battlegrounds ported to Xbox. There were lots of issues, namely framerate drops, which are currently getting patched. With Battlegrounds 1.0, we’ll finally be seeing the game’s much-anticipated desert map Miramar and its replay feature, which has already inspired players’ ridiculous Battlegrounds action movies. Look forward to our coverage of Battlegrounds 1.0 throughout the week. [Correction: 11:45 a.m.]—A previous version of this article reported that Battlegrounds leaves early access at 2 p.m. today, when in fact, it’s 2 a.m. tomorrow. We regret the error. We have also changed the story’s headline, previously “PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Finally Comes Out For Real Today” to reflect that.
  15. The PvP mode is a lot of fun if you like to work together as a team. Problem with the community right now is the last good mass FPS made was BF4. That was October 29, 2013. Since that time, most games are just garbage. They do not hold a players attention or is so poorly made no one wants to play it. The newest shhoters that just came out i October of this year are already discounted to $35 because no one is buying them and the games suck. Take a look at SWBF2 and CODWW2. COD is actually selling the most but it is still down. Until a good game is made our community will be fractured with old games and different games. Our community is based on Battlefield series and the latest sucks and we have more playing a 4 year old version. That is actually 2 battlefield titles ago. We are playing about 5 different games right now. There just isnt much we can do until something good comes along. Maybe BF2018? Maybe something else.
  16. It is a good one time fun mode to play. I enjoyed it.
  17. The last time EA released 2 FPS games in the same year was Battlefield Hardline and Star Wars battlefront. Neither did very well. They followed those games up with Battlefield 1 which just enraged players more. Look at the results of SWBF2. not a good turn out. DICE does not have the man power to do 1 game properly let allow 2 games. They are hiring 70 people and struggling to get people. Look for them to go to local high schools next.
  18. I know it is fast. It is pretty slick.
  19. A couple articles for you. Again until EA or DICE makes an official statement, everything is rumor. According to Daq, DICE LAis working on BFBC3 and DICE Sweden BFWW2. I can not confirm anything either way. Read the articles. Daq says he was told wrong and we are getting WW2 game. The second article says there is no longer a BFBC3 in develpoment. I heard is was a 64 player game and BCBF3 would be 32 player. So who knows. I should get the good info in March. Maybe earlier. No, 2018's Battlefield game isn't Bad Company 3 WWW.EUROGAMER.NET Earlier this week, a YouTube video sparked reports that Battlefield Bad Company 3 would launch in 2018. Details of the … Just a moment... WWW.SPIELTIMES.COM Either way, I do not care about the era as much as I do care about the Server Rentals. RSP killed BF1 more than anything. If EA/DICE can not make a game that is fun to play with all my friends and police our selves then I will not buy their game.
  20. Ghost Recon Wildlands on Xbox One, PS4 & PC | Ubisoft (US) GHOST-RECON.UBISOFT.COM Get Ghost Recon Wildlands and experience the game that blazed the path for Ghost Recon Breakpoint. Enter a vast open world that challenges you to explore, discover cartel operations, and shut them down however you see fit. Use any combination of weapons, vehicles, and tactics to destroy the cartel’s assets, take out its bosses, and strike at the heart of its leadership. OMG I can't wait. More things to do. More guns, more maps, more peeks
  21. Ok figures from what is being reported for Swbf2 is they are just under 900,000 copies sold world wide. The is 20% off what call of duty ww2 did. NPD Shows Dismal 'Battlefront 2' Sales At 20% Of 'Call of Duty: WWII' Sales WWW.GOOGLE.COM NPD is reporting that Star Wars Battlefront 2 sales, physical game sales in the US, were only 882,000 in its debut month. Another rumor, the next Battlefield game will be bad company 3. Please post ea news and rumors here.
  22. Update I installed. I have to work until 8 tonight so I will be a few hours late. I can't wait to test this update out.
  23. Well like I said I got the same info back in October. Who knows. I could care less about the name. What I do care about is rental servers.
  24. Again this is all rumor Everything should be taken with a great of salt
