That's similar to how mine looked the last time I cleaned mine out. Mine had a generous helping of cat hair mixed in with the debris due to them climbing on the keyboard all the time.

I used to use FLIR/IRNV all the time but recently changed to using regular scopes. Still like using FLIR on DMR's and sniper rifles and occasionally on a select few others. I find the accuracy / hit reg to be better using the normal scopes hence the reason I changed.

I'm still waiting to start watching it. Trying to find the time to watch it when my wife and I are both ready to watch is proving harder than expected! We both watched the original and really enjoyed it though.

rokerrolzer was on and was killing people and everytime on the death screen it just had his class ie Assault and no weapon. I have never played it and not going to start now. Just figured for anyone interested, the price might be appealing for them. I'm saving my $'s for Battlefront!

Only just noticed this myself and not sure when it started or when it ends. However, BFH is now available for $23.99. Seems like a good price for the standard edition (saving 60%). Ultimate edition is available for $71.98 (save 40%).

This may be old news to some of you but I had never heard it before so thought I would share. It seems in the CTE, they are making some changes to smoke grenades. The change being that IRNV and FLIR will not be able to see through it. One use that instantly springs to mind is on Operation Metro and trying to break through and capture B. In normal mode you can still spot enemies through the smoke and therefore kill them. In hardcore, 3D spotting is off so it could make for some interesting game play change and an increased use in smoke. Unfortunately, it seems the implementation of the new smoke cripples frame rate if there are multiple grenades in an area. I think hope they will optimize this so it doesn't break the game before being released though.

I think whoever came up with/referenced the fix about replacing your hosts file should receive a medal.... or at least get moved to the top of the GameME stats leaderboard!

Not sure why I'm posting this as it doesn't reflect well on me but ..... I find myself looking at the GameME stats page and smiling/laughing when I see how far bu11boy is behind me :tongue: . Then I see the amount of time I have sunk into the server and realize the stats are very skewed - in that the more time you play the higher the rank you will/should be rather than based on skill etc. So, I decided to play around with the data of the top 50 players and redo it based on server score per minute. It makes for interesting reading - I think. Not sure if there has been a fix EA side or not but........... I had the same problem yesterday. On about the 5th attempt it let me in. Not sure if I used the fix Gator mentioned or not, but it let me in. Anyway, just tried again this morning and didn't do anything.... just let it run its course... and it let me in. Hopefully it's fixed and I just didn't get lucky.

Very cool! When all the airborne assault guys were dropping in and all the airborne were parachuting in, did anyone else think "should I go sniper rifle or DMR?" Also, when all the chopper were flying overhead, I caught myself thinking ' I'm gonna need more stingers '. :biggrin:

Nice post Axle. It seems the facts confirmed my suspicions. It is very hard to catch cheaters AND prove it. One interesting thing mentioned was if someone is suspected of cheating then ban them and go through the 2 camera method of proof. If we do implement this, I would like to nominate the first candidate to try and prove they are innocent - Bu11boy! :biggrin:

It just keeps growing and growing! But enough about what my wife said last night :biggrin: Its very good news and well deserved. Let's hope it keeps on! On a side note, wouldn't it be great if we could fill the server with TAC players and have an inter clan match up...... or even USA vs CAN. Might not please the others trying to get in but it would be cool none the less.

I didn't remove the keys but if you were to do that, I don't think it would be a problem. Just remember no dish soap/detergent and no heated dry.

Patches, found this and thought it might help with your keyboard. I have used the dishwasher method before and it works great. Looks like a nice little mouse there Gator. I'd be interested to see how it turns out because I'm in need of an affordable upgrade.

I think the article said that PCIe would be used initially but would not utilize the full speed the memory was capable of. Hence the new design of motherboard interfaces to accommodate that. I liked the idea of it possibly being a dual role item too... RAM and HDD.

I have to say, from what I have seen so far, I like it. I always like looking at stats - more out of interest than improving my play etc. (I'm that bad I think I'd still have crap stats if I used hacks!) I guess it's early days but certainly worth exploring further in my opinion.
