Well they changed it back which is good but even with the new guns I just didn't feel the same desire to log in last night. I mean it could be that I have a new Ampeg half stack to dork around with but I digress. I think this little stealth nerf may have put a lot of folks off and might see their numbers go down. A little early to tell but we shall see. I'll probably play some this weekend as its a long weekend but not sure that I will be hard and heavy. I've got a couple of games I'm playing at the moment and I'll have a bunch of new gear to play around with as well.

Well this is both a pleasant surprise and highly unexpected. I gotta say, while it seemed a pretty dumb move in the first place, it looks like they maybe learned a few things from BF1. I do hope they keep this attitude up. Its really refreshing to see it. Now I can feel better about logging in.

Honestly I haven't felt the desire to log in and play with the current values in place. The core queue is doing the same thing as premium did so whats the difference?

Unreal is really a good engine for a starting point for games. Its when you have to crawl under the hood and optimize everything is where the issues come up. A lot of the independent games that use UE kinda miss the mark on that though.

But how can I play without my HUD and being able to be hit a gazillion times before I get downed? Honestly above I said it was similar to hardcore but what I meant to say is Classic Mode.

That's kind of why I like it so much it is very similar TTK /TTD as a BF4 HC Mode server. Wondering what kind of player migration to the "core" mode servers will be.

Not that I would put it past them, but not having an RSP would be shooting themselves in the foot. My only hope is that the time we are doing without them is being used to go over the basic features list we provided for BF1 and is being incorporated.

You just can't please some folks (Not you Axel the guy in the snarky post above). I have to say this version of BF is probably one of the most stable right out of the shute. Yeah there are some bugs and a few oversights but all in all its probably one of the more polished games DICE has put out. Why? Because they didn't just throw stuff that wasn't working right in the release. They also have pushed back the Dec. patch to fix known issues. Good for them. They have demonstrated multiple times already that they have listed to what we told them in BF1. That does not mean that the will not start doing that at some point but so far so good. I am beyond ok with waiting for things like rentable servers until they are in a good state. I was one of the more vocal people when it came to the shitshow that was the RSP in BF1. Will we have the level of servers we had in BF4? Probably not but hopefully it will have at least the minimum feature list we gave them for BF1

Yeah saw that last night but hey at least they are pushing a bugged update, well an update they KNOW is bugged. That was one of my big "sore ass" spots with the CTE. We would test this and that and give feedback that something was broken and well they couldn't change it because by the time we got to test it it had been sent for certification already. That was hugely stupid as hell.

Can't wait. I have purposefully waited on starting the War Stories campaign to let them get this in. That said the trailer has one glaring error. "Oh Mien Got. Ze Americans." Uhh Where? I see no Americans haha.

Yeah me too. One of the reasons I took up the bass. I mean it's cool to be able to shred but calling the thunder is where it's at in metal. At some point I wanna make a custom bass carved to look like Mjolnir and call it the God of Thunder haha

I want to preface this by saying it was a really difficult choice to make but something I had to do. As some of you know my wife has been having a rough go at daily life and neither of my parents are in especially good health either come to think of it My brother in law and I are the only ones not on disability due to illness which was one of the main reasons I gave up smoking and have dropped 125 lbs so far. Forget the fact I feel strong as an ox and food tastes amazing now my overall health has improved a LOT. Well on to the point, I am no longer in the band full time. I had a sit down with the fellows yesterday and told them that with my responsibilities to family and work that I would no longer be able to commit to being there 100%. We had already merged with another local band and the bass player is pretty damned good so instead of two bassists they have one but we are all good with the outcome. I will continue to practice with them and may play shows with them depending on the situation or if they need an emergency fill in and I am available. I really enjoyed the opportunity to play with these guys as they are all amazing musicians and as the youngest of them and with only a couple of years exp playing the bass was honored to be asked to join. It really made me feel all the time spent practicing was well worth it. I will continue to practice and increase my proficiency but it just won't be at the level I was. I may also look to playing with other folks as well as, while it has expanded my range hugely, they are not really playing "my music". I'm an old 80's metalhead and that's what I learned to play to start with. You want me to play Def Leppard, Dokken, Van Halen, etc I can step in and play pretty much any popular tune they had in a few passes to get the timing / key the band is playing in. All this bluesy stuff is kinda new to me. Hahaha Well Cinderella and Great White are Bluesy but you get my drift. So anyway look to see one more idiot in channel more often. Maybe I can get my KDR back where it needs to be hahahah.
