Or the third option. Develop the core at a minimum of expense, hell start with the broken BF1 RSP servers, and give out the API and let the fan base do it as has always been done in the past. The reason its costing you so much is you want to monetize the shit out of it like everything else. There is a reason BF4 servers were so much better than BF1 servers they just refuse to hear why.

I would say that taking it to this level is an unfair advantage but using reshade shouldn't be. Hell I've used reshade and if that's what the program hes talking about is. Reshade is the only thing that made BF1 playable when looking out of windows after they screwed up the lighting. If and that's is a big if this is what they are banning folks based off of I wont use it in BFV however its very likely to end in me just uninstalling the game since their art folks cant seem to use a decent color palliate. When I start getting headaches then its time to put it down. I doubt you can do this with reshade though Ive looked at all of the profiles and havent seen anything that would simply remove items from the game world view. It, again as I've seen, only changes color palliates and lighting.

I get why they are banning folks but like Jack said you can technically do this by tweaking your driver ini files and using the settings panel. Is it shitty to do? Yeah. Not entirely sure it should result in a perma-ban though. That's a tad harsh IMHO.

Exactly PUBG faces this same problem but are remedying the situation. Developers should really listen to the player base and when they tell them something will kill the game shout put in extra evaluation on changes that will drastically change the game for the worse. From launch until that changed Galaxies was the only game I played. I made it about a week after the change before canceling my sub.

Well the game would need to be an MMO to make it worthwhile and the only worthwhile Star Wars MMO was Galaxies BEFORE they changed the entire interface to the EQ 2 POS interface. I loved Galaxies and was crushed when they did the swap to the screwed up interface and game play.

Id like to have the gaming performance intel offers but the task processing I would use in mastering music files really could be handled better by the Ryzen. Oh the dilemma!

They are aiming for the mass market just like they have been with consoles over PCs. Face it just about every brain dead twit on the planet has a smart phone and cant keep their eyes off it. this is what they want to tap into. Dont expect anything great to be on the platform but they have made PUBG and Fortnite pretty damned playable on those platforms so who knows.

Well here's the thing. Discord is the defacto choice of streamers due to plugin access and how it ties in with Twitch. Like it or not the games we like to play are heavily influenced by streamers and the player base going to use whichever platform they are using. While TS is superior in the audio quality arena they have been the go to VOIP app for so long they have acquired the "fat cat" syndrome and haven't been innovating like the newer players in the market have and now they find themselves behind the 8 ball.
