  1. Think I'm gonna go ahead and get the new GR tomorrow but must remember to buy it directly from UBI this time haha.
  2. They pretty much have to . AMD is killin it with the latest gen CPUs.
  3. Very good cover! I do love playing Beatles tunes. Very challenging stuff on the bass cause McCartney is just awesome on bass.
  4. Im guessing it just wouldn't be BF if Metro didn't show up at some point. Looks kinda cool.
  5. If it wasn't for the parents health issues, and well the fact the house is paid for, I'd be hunting a govt employee job hard. With my active duty service I would be knocking on the retirement door at the end of my 50s. That I could deal with. Alas I am gonna be right here working forever methinks.
  6. Inquiring minds want to know! Well, as some of you guys know I work for a food manufacturing company in the IT department and have since Jan 1 2016 after getting laid off from a safety equipment and rail car loading equipment company. Since I started the company has pretty much tripped its volume and sales. This is a good thing except they are still in the mindset of the company I started at almost 4 yrs ago and do not like to hire people. As the Systems Engineer I am responsible for all Servers, Switching, Infrastructure (Fiber and Copper) as well as the security systems telephones etc. This would not be an issue normally except well its only me. I have a break fix guy that maintains the endpoints such as printers, workstations, and general help desk stuff but otherwise yer looking at the guy. 35 servers, 53 switches, 30 biometric access controll devices and 83 video cameras along with the switching for that network, that love to just take a shit whenever they feel like it, and all the infrastructure in between. So far this year in addition to the above: a) Replaced the old phone PBX and handsets with a new hosted PBX and new phones. b) Have updated the old Wi-Fi network and expanded the coverage to 83 APs from 25 and added a controller server c) We have added 3 new warehouses with 2 more in the process of being built so all fiber, copper APs network switching and cameras etc. so far about 1.2 million Sq Ft. d) Added 2 Remote Warehouses Domain controller and a couple of servers plus APs etc there as well e) replaced older switching throughout f) Added a EMC storage array with multiple host machines and am rolling older servers to VMs g) and the current drain on my time and sanity... Segmenting the friggin network. This would have been a LOT easier if the previous IT guy would have actually been you know an IT guy and not someone with a degree in finance. I suppose back in the day, before my boss got here, it worked but I walked into a 25 year old cluster fuck of a network that at that time needed help and now NEEDS immediate relief before it completely shits the bed. So yeah that's whats been going on. For the past 8 months or so its been get up @ 5AM, Go to work, til 5 to 7 or later on a good day, come home, deal with stuff the wife/ parents need, eat, go to bed. Rinse repeat. I swear if it didn't pay so well I would be outta here. Haven't had a real vac in 4 yrs but dam the yearly bonus/vac payout/ etc is nice. Last yr I woke up one morning with 11 grand in the bank. I was like "OK this has gotta be a mistake." hahaha. It wasn't. Hopefully I'll be able to settle down or at least get some help soon.
  7. Ok, I think I came just a little. Im gonna go out on a limb here, as I haven't played it at all, and say by appearance this is everything we wanted BF to be for the past what 6-8 years? I'm really hoping they dont shit the bed with this cause as it stands this could be my first, gasp, CoD purchase EVAR.
  8. So Im like way behind on shooters. I was watching about the 64 player mode aka "BF Mode". I have questions but my workload has kept me from researching or playing anything ... even my music... Sooo... I turn to The Armory: Is it live when the game ships? Was it available for play in beta? Anyone got experience or opinions? Working schlubs everywhere wanna know.

  10. Used to watch this all the time. Great show. Negan is their dad! Guess that explains why he so messed up haha
  11. I have done the unspeakable. This weekend I... I... Created a WoW Classic Character and played WoW Classic. Now it is PvP and I am Playing a Dwarf Hunter so I get to use guns. Does that still count hahaha.

Still above ground. Survived the hurricane but work has been insane. Working late most nights lots of expansion and huge projects. Hope to get some time and a good game soon. Hope everyone is doing well.

I really have high hopes for this as they hired several guys who worked on the old school pen and paper game, one of which is one of the creators who designed most of the systems.
  14. This is what the story lines were for. BF4 you have the "single player" campaign. This is where you worked out how to do things or at least that's what I did. This seems, and I hate to say it, like a cheapo way to give new players the same basic knowledge with minimal effort. Sorry EA/DICE have kinda burned BF to the ground IMHO and the next BF I play is gonna have to be one damned stellar gaming experience before I sink any real cash into it. My only regret is I forgot I had used the EA Access service to play BF5 and didn't stop the subscription for a long time. That one is on me though.
  15. In all seriousness Axle, Check out the new Gen AMD chips. They are getting almost identical benchmarks as the Intel chips at roughly half the price. I'm seriously considering getting one myself especially since I do more than play games.
  16. Shirley Manson is hawt.
  17. Also works very well when you want to stream music to a specific channel in TS. We had a music channel in my WoW groups TS and each night was a different type of music. I had a laptop with about 80 GB of high quality 80s metal hooked up and I did the friday night Headbangers Ball Redux show haha.
  18. Saw something about this last weekend. I was like hellz yeah. Great show.
  19. I assume they have taken into account the differences in Titan's atmospheric differences being 98% nitrogen with methane and hydrogen rounding out the other major elements. Also I would hope they looked at the magnetic make up as drones usually use electric motors. I dont see them using any combustion based propulsion as that would require an oxygen source witch would be heavy for a Q-Copter to carry around. Gonna be interesting to see. As much as I am a huge proponent of NASA and funding their research I would say we have a lot more pressing issues some of this money could be going towards at this time.
  20. GR: Point Break Whoa! /Keanu
  21. Oh holy shit. welp I will forget how to play songs again. Between this and Cyberpunk I'm gonna be one of those guys who dies gaming hahaha.
  22. Nailed one of the longest songs ever on the first play through.
  23. That looks awesome.
  24. Gator's hair metal cred just decreased by -100 points.
