I've been sick since the Thursday before Christmas so I haven't touched an instrument or anything since that time. Finally got feeling well enough to play some this weekend and last night despite still having a hacking cough, which makes playing quite challenging. Got this one nailed in a couple of passes. Once it starts warming up a tad I will be starting phase one of the garage remodel with will see a true HVAC system installed as well as replacing all the old flourecent fixtures with LEDs to cut noise and setting up baffles for better accoustics and getting the audio / video recording stuff set up and working like it should. At that point I can start sharing actual play throughs. Looking at starting a site devoted to local bands kind of a talk show with a couple of songs I sit in with them on. Think Darryls House without Darryl and little to no production budget. Anyway the tuneage ...

Yeah but ya have to take into account machine replacement costs, Users ability to "get" windows 10 ( we have a LOT of basically unskilled folks who do have to input data but arent all that computer savvy.) and time. Its basically me and another guy who have to do this so roll out is slooooow.

We have those type devices on some of the manufacturing equipment here at the plant. They work amazingly. I do hope they get the size down to a manageable state because honestly I would worry about having that much weight hanging on the board. Very cool , pun intended, concept though.

Well I hate to say it but DICE strikes again. I mean how could you not get it when everyone has been screaming about servers since the abortion that was the BF1 servers. Now they dont even have the excuse of it being a revinue stream. I mean for christ sakes just go back to third party servers and let us have the tools to play the game like we want. Ive never seen a company be so utterly clueless and not utterly be driven out of the market by its customers.

I've pretty much given up on BF to be honest. Until there is some major house cleaning done DICE will continue to kill off its most successful title. Who the hell am I kidding I cant find the time to get into anything solid anywho.

Got my yearly instrument yesterday. Luckily it was delivered to my office so it didn't get rained on cause I am careful. This thing sounds amazing. All the way from Germany.
