From my understanding all the graphics work was done on a Commodore Amiga which was top of the line for graphics work at the time. Now my phone has as much if not more power but in the day that was kicking ass. I miss the simple days sometimes hahaha. I do like how they sharpened it and bought out the colors and lighting more. Very nice job!

B5 is Awesome. If you started with S1E1 then hold on because it starts out a little slow like all epochs and ramps up. This is in my top 5 all time favorite Sci Fi Series. Enjoy it bro cause I may now have to get HBOMAX ... bastards. The visuals on this were way beyond their time when it was actively filming. Hope they still hold up under high res. Also you will see a lot of similarities to ST:DS9 because Paramount ripped off Straczynski. Yeah both sides say that they didn't but he pitched the idea to them years before DS9 was even thought about so make of it what you will but I suspect large amounts of cash were passed around under the table. The shows and studios seemed to have a good working relationship with each other so apparently it was all good and we ended up with two awesome shows 3 and 4 in my list of most awesome Sci Fi shows. Also see if you can find the movies and watch them in order with the series. FYI there was a movie preceding the series called The Gathering. Also just saw that the remastered versions are also on Itunes and Amazon Prime as well or at least they were. Hope they still are. Can't wait to watch them again. I have the original release DVD set but with the progression of technology they no longer work in any players I have due to the mastering issues they had with these. Thanks for the heads up Larry.

Wow, Mine was over twice that when i got it years ago. I wish they still had the games with flight in them with the old school configuration built into them like back in the day. It's either they have a crappy interface in them or its completely over the top. I'd venture to say that if you are using the MS Flight Sim you would really want a much higher end HoTAS setup from either Logitech or Thrustmaster that has the separate throttle, Control quadrant and the pedal assembly. Looking out at Amazon I was shocked at how detailed these rigs can get now. Gimme MS:FS2020 with aerial combat and I'll just retire from gaming hahaha.

The problem with all of these is the tech still isn't there. Its getting there but they all flash up warnings to me all the time and when I check what is flagging they are all switches that I have logged on to that I have deleted before and they magically reappear years later.

Well sometimes I'm my own worst enemy. I have the White 4 door at the house in the garage and im starting to break it down. Took the hood off and the hood related trim. Then took the carb off and removed the belts. I was driving down the road and what do i see? a 1965 Galaxie 2 door fastback with a big block motor in it and the trans, c6, that came in it with for sale written on the front window. I look at it and it's rough. By rough I mean, you can sit in the driver's seat and look over into the back and see the ground, rough. I take the number down of the business and forget about it for a couple of weeks. I find the number and decide to call it. The owner of the shop is letting a guy display the car there and wants 1000.00 for it. I kind of chuckle , the shop owner says yeah I know, and I bid him adieu. Fast forward to yesterday i call the shop owner back and get the guys number and go all Gas Monkey Garage on him, and rightly so as the car will have to have extensive sheet metal work done on it to make it safe to drive not counting the cosmetic stuff, so i offer him 400.00 if he wants to unload it. I call him this AM to see what his thoughts were and he said if i can come up to 500.00 it's a deal. So I will own 2 in a week or so hahahaha. This one has the 352 Ford FE big block in it and is a fastback so it's full on muscle car / 1960s NASCAR. Think this one will be built first but my only question is once its running with good body panels do i paint it up street rod fashion or to match one of the old NASCAR cars? Im leaning toward the historical NASCAR paint since I can look at the Darlington NASCAR track from my backyard less than 1/2 a mile away. Would be really cool to have during race weeks. Will be interesting to see where they have gone with it. Played it a bit while I had the pass for BF5 and when I was beta testing. seemed pretty fun although lacking a bit of polish and the whole loot box thing. Curious as to how they got around all of that. If nothing else it should serve to see what direction it took. Thanks for the heads up Larry.

Uhh why is it on the Epic store and not origin? That seems a little flakey unless they have some secret cabalistic agreement i am not aware of. Sorry Facebook has me believing everything is a conspiracy these days haha.

Arroooo? / Scooby I gotta say just from the limited info given this could work out to be a pretty decent successor to Star Wars Galaxies. I loved that game until they reworked the entire thing and killed it with the whole NGE / Everquest 2 interface thing. It worked well for EQ2 because it was a much slower paced game and it was designed to have that interface. Ya can't have epic space battles with that interface it's too clunky. Here's hoping we get something along the lines of Watchdogs: The Star Wars edition. I'd shuck out some duckets for that. I would prefer something where it was more than me playing in an instanced environment unless I invited others in. I kinda dig the whole open world with everyone else running around sort of GTA style. Can't gank Imperials unless they are also in there.

FYI, I've gotten some decent drops off of the random encounters on the street level guys as well definitely worth taking the time to take em down and loot em up.

Yeah he is really good. One of my definite plays when in the garage working on the car or playing basslines.

I usually grab everything and then after the mission is done i hit a sales kiosk and sell off all duplicates and any misc bs for cash.

If you spot what they are doing wrong say so. It was immediate to me but I was wondering if anyone else caught it.

So I have been hearing about how much of a pig the game is but honestly I haven't seen any issues Im running it on a SFF HP Elite desktop with a i5 4690 chipset. I do have it at 24GB of RAM and have a SFF GeForce 1650 in it as a GPU but it only has 4GB of RAM. The game plays smooth as silk and I haven't seen any of the glitches/bugs that I keep hearing everyone bemoan. Only have about 4 hours into it right now as I am taking my time and enjoying the game. What is everyone else's experience so far?

Hahah I use that one and the Spectrum as the secondary. I started using this one but for years ran Mae East. I can't count the number of times I've informed Spectrum that their DNS server wasn't working correctly and had to explain to their tech monkey why I was saying that lol.

I guess as a IT guy this seems common knowledge but thinking about it I guess the average person wouldn't know these so good info. I would have added one thing though. If you dont really want to wait for the DNS Resolver Cache to gradually be rebuilt you can type the following in the same CMD window right after flushing the DNS: ipconfig registerdns This will force Windows to pull in the default DNS entries your providers DNS servers have stored as well as any network DNS info. I always run this after a flush but good stuff!

Merry Christmas man. What is it with jobs and all these days? Hell I'm 53 and in IT, and what do i spend most of my time doing now? Garage work hahaha. Its like you hit your 50s and if you haven't packed it in they assume you know how to fix stuff lol. Granted I do and honestly I like working on cars way more than computers but damn hahaha.
