Key words here are "if everything goes smoothly" which MS is famous for thing NOT going smoothly. I'm kind of on the edge about the forced upgrades thing. I mean for non corporate clients I can see it as a good thing for the most part but it is a nightmare for those who dont want to or cant afford to implement a WSUS server into their environment to control patches. The most recent was the driver patch that hosed printing on Kyocera printers. That's bad since it affected all of those printers including the multifunction copiers found in a LOT of businesses. Then they made the fix an optional patch.... WTF. To fix it you had to go out to the command line and run the commands to roll back the KB and then suspend updates or it would get pushed back within 24hrs. Their way of dealing with oh shit issues is lacking to say the least. Kinda makes me long for the good ole DOS days. That stuff just worked.

Ceramic washes/waxes are really awesome stuff. These are mainstays of car shows and sales yards. Haven't tried any of the washes yet but I have been using the ceramic spray waxes for a few years now and damn do they work well.

Sad to see it go. If anyone is using Extreme Networks APs for work the OS and Admin Console /Controller for these is Flash based. They came out with a work around before the official death date but it was still using Flash. With MS removing all core Flash support I am not sure what impact this will have. Notified my former colleagues as they use the Extreme stuff in the warehouses and I dont think the OS upgrade for them has been pushed. Just a FYI.

Very well written article. I remember when SSDs first started hitting the market trying to wrap my head around how they worked. They were just so much different than a typical spinning disk HDD that it was like voodoo to me. I'll be honest for the first few years I stayed away from them out of fear and would not recommend them to anyone who asked. Now I cant imagine not having one. In my last gaming rig I had a SSD as my C: but relied on the tried and true HDD for game installs, MP3 storage, etc. simply because IF something happened and I had files I really needed on there and the drive crapped out you could send it off and have it recovered by a data recovery firm. Now I just have an external drive, Spinning disk Hahaha, that I back everything up to just in case. I have never had a drive go out on me but have had clients that the drive toasted on them so yeah. Better safe than sorry. Backup wise I am very impressed with Barracuda and for corporate clients its my go to. You have both a local copy and a cloud copy that gets synced every night with full deduplication and unlimited cloud storage which is nice. Here at the shop I have the file server set to do Shadow Copies( Previous Versions), Local Barracuda, and Barracuda Cloud. I ain't losing data unless they go and delete a file they just made changes to. In that case you just cant fix stupid.

How complex are the flight controls on ships in this game? One of the things that really put me off on Star Citizen was the fact you basically needed a pilots license to be able to navigate or even lift off in a ship hahah.

So if I'm hearing this correctly, once you get one of these you can park one of these things in a good mining zone and then just use it to sell stuff you mine to the market without having to make extended trips back and forth? It also sounds like you can buy supplies on board as well and it cant be destroyed so its basically a mobile launch pad for any incursions on other systems as well. I really need to install this game and give it a try.

Yeah I posted on there asking, and if you haven't ever done it before you really wouldn't think about it, but the inside and outside corners should have metal drywall beads / reinforcement strips put on before the mudding and taping. they keep the corners from being damaged and eliminates the need to pack mud in the big corner cracks which will crack with expansion/contraction. I dig they are learning and doing everything on their own but sometimes I want to scream at the monitor haha. That tape on the inside corners alone ain't gonna hold up long which is why you install the metal strips but hey, if it works for them meh. Watching this series is great and makes me thankful I had a grandpa that taught me all the tricks of construction, electronics, auto repair and body work etc. Pretty much the only thing I dont do is HVAC work because I dont have the specialized tools you need. Everything else home or auto related I do around the house. It has saved me a metric ton of cash at this point in my life. To anyone that has the opportunity hang out with old guys who can do all this stuff and learn all you can. It pays off in the end.

Never been a fan of including the GPU on the CPU. I've had far too many video cards nuke on me and I wouldn't want that to take out my CPU with it. Even with a good water cooling setup it seems like heat would be a thing with these.

Interesting, I may get one for the Galaxie. It has a non standard radio in it so I was either gonna have to buy a really expensive RetroSound one that will fit or get the Bluetooth adapter and run from my phone. Way end up building a custom interior that has a touchscreen radio built in but we will see. Long way away from that and I've been thinking about building another drag car. Mustang stuff is just too cheap compared to what I'm sinking in the Galaxie. I can build a entire stroker motor for what the big block FE motor rebuild kit with a cam costs. The saying is true. I have one and by god those things are the greatest invention ever created. I cook a full 2 lb pot roast with veggies in a half an hour and the meat falls apart with a fork. Haven't tried it yet but a buddy makes the best pulled pork BBQ I have ever tasted in his. You will love that thing. My only negative is the cleanup since the pot can't be immersed it takes a while to clean it but well worth it. **Edit** One quick tip. when you first put the sealing ring in it can be difficult. Treat it like any standard O ring. You dont want to roughly stretch it. Take a very small amount of petroleum jelly like Vaseline, just enough to make your fingers slick, and go around the edges of the seal before you put it in. It will make it pop right in with minimal stretching. If using Vaseline weirds you out cooking oil can be used as well but Vaseline doesn't bother me cause its food grade and I use it as a lip balm when going out in really cold dry environments.

If only it wasn't OLED. OLEDs burn in about as bad as CRTs back in the day. I dunno I dont run too many things with bright static images but you would think after this many years either we would have gotten over burn in or that developer / TV stations would have clued in to not but bright static images on screens for extended periods of time. News channels are the worst about it followed closely by cable stations that run their logo in the bottom right hand corner. Some of the news stations will burn a screen in as few as 800 hours. Here's looking at you CNN.

I had been meaning to catch this while it was being produced but never got around to watching it til this weekend and and before i knew it, boom, 2 seasons down.
