Wasn't sure I was gonna like it but its a really clean interface and allows control over the game. The one issue Rocksmith has is when you exit its like a 4 or 5 click event. No longer one button on the Library terminates that puppy with extreme prejudice.

Cause Origin sucks and whatnot.

Got a new Mackie mixer on the way so I should be able to get my voice coms working soon. HVAC should be fixed today so after I get the bill ill know about a great many things like if I have to delay the CoD purchase haha

Humm Wake Island map returns. They make the trailers so damned good. I only wish the game played as well. I am going to be buying the first CoD product I have ever bought. Im a BF guy from way back. That should say something to them. Just sayin.

So I figured out all of my issues I think. The two missions that I went on and looked like they completed but for some reason did not. When i saw the Focus prompt pop up I was used to seeing that when I was sliding on a hill to regain balance and control, however, it was up at the mission point but I wasn't out of control so I thought that weird and was ignoring it as a possible bug. Lo and behold I hit focus and it completed the mission. Since both of these were investigate xxx at location XXX it would have probably been a bit more intuitive to have a investigate prompt pop up instead of a focus prompt but now I know. Score one for just hitting a button when on screen to see why it was up. The end challenge is indeed as long as you are not visually detected. They can go yellow all they want as long as they do not go red you are golden. I think what is so frustrating is that the game mechanics are not so much broken but do not always load or stay loaded. I literally took a fast travel to a zone where I had faction missions and a ton of patrols and vehicle camps and shot twenty guys at distance and the objective completed. It took me 5 min max. In case you are wondering the Scorpion Scout fully upgraded is a beast. One thing I saw in a lot of videos is the complaint about the higher tier you get the non existence of standard weapon drops in order to get the standard parts. I was looking at the store last night and lo and behold a standard grade pistol. Bought a bunch of them for 300 credits a pop and disassembled them. Boom standard parts. Now for my next question.... When you disassemble gear such as helmets, LBEs, etc you get gear parts... WTF are those used for? Haven't ever seen a way to upgrade gear so no idea what these are used for.

Doing the final challenges for Sharpshooter and one of them is to kill 20 NPCs without being detected. Does this mean that the bases etc cant alert (Go Yellow) or does this mean no visual detection (Go Red)? I took out a couple of large bases last night with added three man patrols without any of them going red and the damned challenge hasn't completed. Any assistance would be helpful as I wanna finish this off and move on to another class to work on those to get the signature weapons but wanted to finish off the Sharpshooter tiers first. Well I had two side missions fail to finish. I also got in a firefight with a wolf squad and two drones, well actually two squads each containing the ground drone. was backing into a swampy area and got stuck couldn't move. I survived and killed all the opponents as well as a helicopter patrol. Lots of loot but I couldn't get out of the stuck position. The good news is that if you get stuck you can fast travel to a Biv if you haven't been spotted and considered in combat. The even better news is much to my surprise if you go back there after doing that the loot is still there.

Ok looking at the trailer it looks like a cross between BF3 and BF4 which means I gotta play this. Damn my free time has just disappeared

I have been having a blast. I've been playing it like Splinter Cell though. Sneak in and out kill as few as possible mainly with melee or pistols or with a sniper/ DMR. You know , gettin my creep on.

Honestly the first thing that came to mind when I saw the picture was "Damn it looks like Discord". Glad you posted this reminded me i need to get TS updated and get back on. Now to figure out how to get my headset mic jacked into the mixer. Sadly I might have to buy a bigger mixer with more inputs.. shame really.... said no music guy EVER!

its been working fine for me til the patch last night. Had 0 complaints. Just think the SNR Suppressors got boogered up unintentionally as they were working Monday night when I played.

Is it just me or did they stealth nerf sniper suppressors with this new patch? Took out the old sniper rifle, held my breath, pulled off a round at a base when I got on to take out the snipers on the towers and as soon as it fired every NPC in a friggin' kilometer went yellow. it didn't sound like the suppressor was on. Tried removing the suppressor and adding it back and still sounded like a cannon. Methinks something got boogered up.

So I was kind of amazed at the difficulty lvl on those elite drone patrol areas that have the "good" loot in them. I attempted one that had 2 drones there and I was able to take 1 out but would end up getting nuked by the other one while it was at about half health. I was working on missions last night and decided to try something. To my surprise it was 100% effective and they never shot at me. 1) Find a base that has the Loatch chopper with mini guns 2) Clear the base for some Phat Lewtz™ 3) Procure said scout chopper with mini guns. 4) Go to patrol area and light those puppies up Takes a bit as you cant easily see the sensitive areas as with a sniper but you can kill them with the chain gun. Did this a couple of times and never even got shot at. I'm sure I'm not the first person to think of this but it works so I thought I would pass it along. I want to find a scout with the rocket pods on it and try those next to see if those make it go quicker.

From what I gathered just bumming around the web there was a coding reason they couldn't as it was planned they were going to do just that. Been having fun going and clearing certain sections of the map. My thing is you have an area that specifically contains an entry level quest and right beside it you put in a Gear Score min 100 base / patrol area.... Who does that hahaha. I saw you guys all huddled by the coop table multiple times this weekend. Almost grabbed ya for some coop till I inspected you guys. yeah I'm one hit at that lvl haha so I went walkabout. I know they have to make a money sink in the game but I really wish that if you cleared a base and flew off in the helicopter or took a boat and you parked it at a bivouac site you actually got to keep it. I use the fast travel option maybe twice a game start and finish otherwise I "aquire" me some transportation at the cost of the bad guys. I gotta say these mobs AI seems a lot better than Wildlands. I actually feel in danger sometimes. That said my new favorite pass time is wolf hunting. Gunplay is pretty damned good as well. Granted I am playing a sniper, yeah whodda thunk that right, but bullet drop and and the scope gradients seem to be pretty spot on. Up to just shy of a 500m head shot but haven't really tried to go any higher. Hopefully I'll get caught up with you guys soon.

So far so good. Really enjoyed the opening mission, which is all I had time for once it finished installing and I got all the other stuff done around the house. Gotta say however they kinda skimped on the character models a bit it seems. I was expecting much more facial expression. Its like they found a group of folks to do the facial modeling that experience massive Botox failures. On a side note I started buying the parts for the new gaming rig today. Ryzen 3800x and RoG Strix X570-E Main Board. Thought about the Ryzen 9 but cant see spending over a hundred bucks on that small of a improvement. The 7 3800x is a good balance on that line. AMD is kicking Intel's ass recently.

SO as there were a couple of games i wanted go give a try I went ahead and pulled the trigger on the UPLAY+ sub and ditched the Blizzard sub as the WoW grind is real. I'll be installing Breakpoint tonight when i get home. See ya in the game.
