The server isn't crashing. It's that there's so few of us that play ETQW that it's pretty difficult getting the server starter.

We did put up the server pretty late, consequently, the other servers that have been up before ours are well established.

Sort of. The closest thing the Army has is the United States Army Parachute Team, aka The Golden Knights. They are a demonstration team, it's just that they don't fly aircraft (I can't see AH-64 Apaches and UH-60 Blackhawks doing barrel rolls and stuff).

I just played the single player. I'm liking the new toys. I'll get around playing multiplayer sometime soon.

I like to change my vote to below average. Single player is great but multiplayer sucked.

To access the console by just pressing the tilde key instead of control-tilde, right click on your ETQW shortcut (create one if you don't have one), then in the target field, add +set com_allowconsole 1 at the end. Example: "C:\Program Files\id Software\Enemy Territory - QUAKE Wars\etqw.exe" +set com_allowconsole 1

My game is Quake Wars although I do play BF2 once in a while.

The game does have an auto update feature. It will tell you to update when it detects you have an older version (usually when you're at the main menu).
