  2. Looks like a cool game. I'll probably get it sometime.
  3. Sorry to hear that, Wolfey. I hope the Chief makes a speedy recovery.
  4. Too bad I can't play BF2 anymore. Game wont go past the splash screen before returning to desktop (no errors).
  5. It's #8 on the list.
  6. Star Trek II, the best Star Trek movie ever.
  7. True. Anyone who just goes out and get dogtags is a stat padder.
  8. Success. Within an hour after we started, we got 19 people in. Let's keep up the good work and again, thanks Gator.
  9. Thank you, Gator. Let's get her started.
  10. The Strogg wish all of you "human food" a very Happy New Year. See you all in the Stroggifier. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! http://members.cox.net/dmw1978/images/stroggnewyear.jpg (Pic taken from PlanetQuake. Link.)
  11. It's the same for minimaps. Green triangles for friendlies and the class symbol plus an arrow where they are facing is the fireteam member.
  12. To identify members of your fireteam in Quake Wars, look for a symbol above the player. Non fireteam members have the green triangle while fireteam members have a symbol representing their class.
  13. Merry Christmas from sunny San Diego, California.
  14. Because, it running the Alternate Battlefield Ranking system (3rd party program). Any awards you receive in an ABR server will not carry over to the official BF2 stats system. Some mod servers run ABR.
  15. Another reason not the get the eXcessBox 360.
  16. Source: Planet Quake [Article] While Enemy Territory: Quake Wars fans anxiously await the release of the 1.4 update, Splash Damage brings us a brief status update. Quality Assurance testing has turned up a few issues with 1.4 that need to be addressed before it can go out the public. One of them is specific to ATI cards, so they are working closely with the guys over at AMD / ATI to get this resolved as quickly as possible, while also making sure that the rest of the update is as solid as can be. Splash Damage does not expect this to be resolved before the new year, so they are now aiming to release 1.4 in early January 2008.
  17. I'll believe it when I see it on sale at the store (or a downloadable demo).
  18. Heh, I was just chatting on my friend's IRC channel about this.
  19. Old Quake tactics (rocket jumping and to some extent, bunny hoping) don't work in Quake Wars. Any attempts to rocket jump will only blow yourself to pieces. Bunny hoping is not as effective as in the previous Quake games. You don't really need to have previous experiences in Quake because the gameplay is different.
  20. There were talks about GM and Renault forming an alliance but it didn't go through.
  21. On the subject of Christmas lights, here's an excerpt taken from Dumb Laws website (regarding a dumb law in my hometown of San Diego, California): The owners of houses with Christmas lights on them past February second may be fined up to $250. Link.
  22. Source: PlanetQuake Article Link Forgotten Heroes is a WWII realism conversion currently in the works for Enemy Territory: Quake Wars. Cody64, most recently known for his ETQW Blood Mod and previously for DOOM Chronicles, sends word that the Forgotten Heroes team is currently seeking concept artists, a history buff, a research team leader and more. You can find out all about this upcoming WWII conversion and find out how you can get it on the gig here.
  23. Then that would be a lot of Japanese brand cars since most of the American brand cars are made in Canada. BTW, Nissan GT-R is made in Japan although it's pretty much runned by a French auto company (Renault).
  24. Where in California is this sign at? LOL.
