  1. If you have Special Forces, load BF2 first, then Special forces because it has its own patch. After that, all you will need is the "Full Client" 1.2 patch located here
  2. I know its a lot of work, but you may have to reinstall Windows. At the least, I would use the system restore feature to take you back to the time it was running properly. If that doesn't work, then I would reinstall Windows.
  3. Very nice Boja. A lot of good stuff there.

  5. Bring it on DEFCON and join us.

    Oh my
  7. I like it also ...looks darn good
  8. I would go back in time System Restore to the date it ran properly, and then reapply the full patch. Also, please stop by Ventrilo ...we miss ya.
  9. Freindly Fire off provides players with an unfair advantage by allowing them to create a "forcefield" around unatteneded flags (or any object for that matter) without the worry of receiving teamkills. For example, the claymores are left on the other side of one of the broken fences. His team members can walk through without setting them off, but the enemy (and his squad) gets blown to bits. Not fair in my eyes anyway. I feel the new CVAR signifcantly and creates an environment that encourages the "overuse" of the Sniper skill. A larger than normal number of players have chosen to be snipers with the recent release of the new patch, so now they just lay down claymores anywhere ...anytime. Personally, I say "No" to FF "Off" It's your server, so vote aways. Please feel free to comment.
  10. There seems to be a difference of opinion concerning the new server CVAR that enables/disables claymore and landmine Friendly Fire (FF). What would you like to see on the Armory server FF on or FF off?
  11. Thats your problem. Next time get an NVida card.
  12. I just did this... Uninstall BF2 and Special Forces (if you have it). Delte the folders except for your "Profiles" folder located in "My Documents". Reinstall BF2/SF, and then doadload the "Full" client patch from your favorite File site, and then install it. Place your Profiles folder back in and you are good to go.

For some reason it was down. Its been restarted and should show up now.
  14. The official one is located on our site. I downloaded this and had no problems at all. I compared both the EA file and the one listed here and they are identical.
  15. Not at all ... its relatively easy to shoot down. You can also shoot it down with aircraft as well.
  16. The "official" EA patch is loaded on our website in the "Download" section
  17. Here are a few observations by myself after a couple of hour’s gameplay using the 1.2, and accompanied by Falcon and Flipster last night: - M203 now ricochets off any object as seen in the video a few weeks ago. While playing last night, I fired a shot at a dumpster and it ricocheted to the right and killed Falcon (who was on my team). It will not blow up vehicles (jeeps) at close range, but will blow up vehicles if shot from a distance - You can see and shoot down the UAV as already known, but the UAV trailer is still present. - Sniper Rifles seemed a little more powerful now - The choppers seem to fly the same to me, but I really didn’t get a chance to fly them all. I did notice the Stinger are missile more deadly now against the choppers. - Falcon noticed the red/blue bug is still unfortunately present, so it may not have been completely fixed - You cannot jump and shoot any longer as we have all heard. But, if you hold the trigger down, you will start firing as soon as your feet hit the ground again. - The nades can be thrown further by standing, but you can no longer jump and throw (as with any weapon). But, if you right-click, you can release the nade while jumping - C4 is definitely nurffed! You cannot jump and throw as shown in an earlier video, and I noticed the killing radius has been reduced as well. Bye bye C4 exploiters …lol - You are still allowed to insta-prone, but when you stand up, there is a slight delay and you cannot fire your weapon immediately (Falcon noticed this one) - The graphics seem to be opitized slightly, but this will differ between each player I'm sure Overall, it seems to be a good patch. Kind of sad to hear about the red/blue bug still present in the game, but hopefully it will not happen as frequently as it did before. Please add any observations you may have noticed here.
  18. Incremental Patch uploaded and is ready in the Armory download section.
  19. I'm uploading it to our web server now. This is an incremental patch, so you would need v1.12 (which evryone should have anyway)
  20. Thanks ...downloading now
