All viri need to be opened for the most part.As I said I send all suspicious attacments to a folder then scan it.I have been doing this for 5 years now and never got a virus that I can be sure of.Now Overclocking is another thing. I have destroyed hd info b/c of overclocking.I keep a spare HD that is an exact copy of my main HD. If I do have a problem all I do is copy the partitions back. I may loose a couple of weeks of info but that is not important to me.The best anti virus is common sense.As to why not.I say why.?It hogs up HD space. Needs constant updating. Conflicts with all sorts of programs and drivers. Slows your boot time considerably. Not needed for online gaming. It gets in the way of doing ordinary computer work. Major resource hog.Add up Steam, Antivirus, and all the other needed start up files/programs and your resources are probably under 80%. Start an online game and they are decreased further.That is why not for me.

You want to feel a good kicking gun.Shoot a rifled barrel 10 guage slug gun. A 12 guage slug gun for that matter.The slug meshing with the rifling keeps the pressure of the explosion well seated behind the slug causing more of a kick than a regular shot gun.They are very light, short, and nimble b/c they are meant to be lugged around in the brush all day looking for deer.That does not help the recoil at all.

Sorry to hear the many woes.I am lucky to be working albeit too much.It is either feast or famen with my company.Unfortunatley we were Feasting 6 to 7 days a week till 9/11. Then the bottom dropped out.Over 600 hourly and 200 saleried were layed off permanently. They cut more saleried as time went on too.We are still a strong company. We just have less people.It is do more with less or LEAN as they are putting the new programs to work to get us to make more with less people.At least I have a job.Now only if I can get 10 more years. That will be 30 years at age 49. I can retire, collect pension and medical and move to Vermont where I have 2 acres put aside.
