Well I installed it the next day. Server was to busy to install. LOL. Then downloaded the patch thru them. Should have d/l 1.4 thru TAC but I figured I could blame them for the error then.

We have a match server. Contact Myself or Gator to set it up. We need all the specifics.

I am not talking about patch 1.4. I haven't played it yet. GF, Soccer, and Overtime at the moment are taking up my time with that issue. However. I had to redo my system the other day as a Harddrive was failing and when I installed my new drive with the bad drive still in the system. As a result. DAH. I have a "D" drive now as my main drive. No "C" drive exists anymore. I use EA's downloader to get Special Forces and It would not let me download it. It would say it "could not find the C:/eadownloader etc etc " and thus cannot initiate the download. Well EA's support actually FIXED it. WOW I had done everything the tech told me to do Before I got his second e-mail. Uninstall, reinstall, test if no good uninstall again and then edit the registry. Well I missed one registry key that I would have never known about. Never would I have thought to check the Uninstall area of MS Windows. Gee it was Windows Fault? Who would have guessed. Or it could have been bad programming by EA too. I like to blame Big Bill tho. 1D171963-9063-4423-898B-8EC4F1F190B7 I deleted this key as instructed and I am now downloading Special Forces. Amazing. Customer support actually worked.

I like DOD:S. They just need some more open ended maps. If you have ever played the RISK map. It is AWESOME!!!!!!! They made a map of the RISK board game and every country, depending on size, has a certain amount of Flag/spawn points. Capture all the countrys like in the board game and you win the round. Plus you spawn in by walking on the map on a desk and can see what team has which flags. Its COOL!!!!!!

It is a Beta isnt it? We all know EA has issues. This just reafirms it if it is happening to more than you. Then they will patch it and make it worse etc etc. We have been down this road before. Gosh I hope not. The weapon selection of FA sort of. The vehicles of Mech warrior. The Battles of BF2 style of play. It all sounds great escept. EA is doing it.
