  1. That is an enigma. Anyhow, I like soccer, but I haven't watched any sports matches in a long, long time. If I do watch anything, it's racing. Nice pictures.

Actually, there are many maps that have places like that. You look in a certain corner and it's almost like you have no_clip enabled in that area so you can see through everything in that place. You can't see through every part of the map though.
  3. Sometimes it can even be a your ethernet cable. My one went out on me and my downloads were super slow. Then again, I didn't lose the connection, so it's probably a different problem. :?-edit- Might even be a hardware problem. Might want to see if might be your NIC.
  4. So you're still alive, eh? Good to know. :o Plus, I know how you feel. The Specialists can get addicting. I had some friends over and we had four computers in a mini-LAN and we played Raging Bull matches for almost 2 hours straight. 8) Took a break and played for another 2 hours.
  5. What does being from Boston do? 8)
  6. Just because a game is old, doesn't mean it isn't any good. You can pick up some of the classic console games and realize it's not all about the graphics and weather effects and game physics. What matters most is the gameplay. Who cares how good a game looks if it's no fun to play. The new Mario Kart games look better, but nothing beats Battle Mode in the original SNES game. 8)

Only one year for mine. But it's getting a 512MB memory upgrade pretty soon. Hopefully a bigger HD follows soon after.
  8. Ah don't worry about it. I know people have their differences in taste. And no, opinions are good, but they're bland unless they have some good backing, and not just "what you like is <insert derogatory word here>."You're still my buddy k_town. :o
  9. Laffles. I have a paintball gun. It's pretty bobo, and it's only been shot a few times. 8) Never gone out for a game, either. D:
  10. My shoulder is available... for a minimal fee. 8)
  11. Yes, because media from another country/culture is automatically crap. 8) Don't even get me started on Cartoon Network's mainstream programming and how much better it is than anime. P.S. Follow the Doc's advise; it's good for your health. :o

Yaoi is a good player, but I agree with Flak. The first time I saw him play and I saw that name, I wondered about it being appropriate, but since about 99% of the players in the server don't know what it means, I figured I'd let it slide until someone with more authority said something about it.And yes, technically, yaoi = guy-on-guy type anime. :?

    400 MHz RAM is PC3200. Isn't it?

Well, from the link you posted, you're getting PC2700 RAM. Last time I checked, PC2700 runs at 333MHz.
  16. I don't think I noticed the last time you were gone. So, again I ask, when were you gone, and for how long?

If you look at the RAM stick itself, it should tell you if it is 333 MHz or whatever.

Sopapilla with honey owns you! My mom makes this flower mixture, rolls them to about 10 inches diameter and cuts two lines down the middle. Not all the way through, but running down to the right and left of center. She then fries them until it's golden brown. When they cool, and the oil has been absorbed by some paper towels, we tear them into three strips and they're good for dipping in honey or just putting the honey on top. She also cuts them into about 3-4 wedges and fries them like that. Both are good. Dunno how she mixes the flour though. I think she uses the flour without yeast because she doesn't want the dough to rise.

Sweet! Corsair makes some good RAM. You also might want to look into some Geil RAM. http://store.yahoo.com/ocsystem/ge51vaduchpc.html That's what I'm getting in about 2 weeks. Good price too.

  25. Each one has it's own merits, but when you look at the big picture, F1 has more powerful engines, lighter cars, and more difficult tracks than NASCAR. Sure NASCAR requires some good engineering because they have to make the car as fast as possible within the defined rules that have been set down, but F1 has those types of rules as well, and I contend that the F1 rules are more strict. F1 also takes into account road condition, atmospheric conditions, elevation, and a slew of other variables, so to say that NASCAR is more complex is not true. F1 requires strategy just like NASCAR. I saw a race where the number 1 car lost because he ran out of gas 100 meters before the finish line. They push the limits on how much fuel they need in order to make the car as light as possible. Also, I agree with F1 getting boring as of late. It seems that almost every race is Michael Schumacher coming in first and Rubens Barichello in second for the Ferrari team. 8) But hey, you get what you put in. Ferrari has the big bucks and it shows with those awesome machines that they run. Rally racing is on it's own since it takes a lot out of a car to go that fast in such a rough environment. LeMans is cool too. No better way to beat up a car than to push its limits for 24 hours. P.S. I love the Subaru Impreza. -edit- But you gotta love all the crashes in NASCAR. I remember that they did a thing where a Formula 1 driver and a NASCAR driver both switched seats. I think Juan Pablo Montoya of the the Williams-BMW team switched spots with Jeff Gordon to do a comparison. Jeff Gordon was talking like he couldn't believe the driving experience he just had, but Montoya seemed a little unimpressed with NASCAR; almost seemed like he was struggling for good things to say and most of them weren't about NASCAR specifically. 8) It's so easy to tell these things on TV rather than a transcript of what they said. Below are some news articles I found about the thing. http://www.jeffgordon.com/news/2003/pr/06-11-2003/JG8112/ I don't see Montoya saying "Wow!" after driving NASCAR. http://www.autosushi.com/autosport/formulaone/tradinpaint.htm
