I agree, it sounds alot like a virus to me. Try running Norton or another anti-virus. If that fails, I've always found a good way to fix stuff is to just re-install STEAM/FA. Another problem is that your CPU might be too slow to run FA, but that isn't really a problem anymore.You might also want to check to make sure you have the latest drivers for your videocard.Maybe post your system specs

Hehe thats why I play FA, not DoD, CS or any other mod. Just the depth of all the games is astonishing.

I've kinda got mixed feelings. Sure it prevents most cheaters/hackers from wrecking a game, but IMO FA is considerably "cleaner" than most other mods, like CS or TFC.

thats why I never use anything that used 9mm. my most common loadout is ssg+DE+med armor+helm+arms. I'm mainly a sniper, but I always play with the sound cranked way up so I can hear people coming towards me. I've found that just unloading all 8 shots at the guy is usually enough to kill

use it sorta like a shotgun, get real close then mash down on the trigger at about their chest level. The recoil should bring the spray up to their head level. I did a bit of checking. It takes 15 bullets to the chest(using hvy armor) using any 9mm firing gun to actually kill the person(not including bleeding). However without any armor at all (if a friendly clay stripped it all) it only takes 3 9mm to kill. I figured this out last night while my friend was over and using the other comp.
