  5. Unbelievable! When you are in the deep sleep, you never standup and take in mind to catch the gun... After training, when you standup very fast and by reflex, you get this "backup" gun and fire on your wife or children when they come on in your bedroom! Very sad! Egidio.

  8. For my son, after he populated with 2 * 1GB. ram same as I, he do to make this: "If Steam continues to crash, try deleting all files and folders in the Steam directory except for steam.exe and the SteamApps folder". And all is alright now. Egidio.
  9. Devises update from my PC detailled on my link beside here: Memory: 2 GB. (2 * 1GB. PC3200 DDR 400 Mhz.[KVR400X64C3A]) was: 1 GB. (2 * 512 MB. PC3200 DDR 400 Mhz.) With the last steam update, I can play now with 2 ram plugged instead steam typed only one of 512 MB. need... But I have other games & applications who needs more memory: like BF2142... Egidio.

  12. I used to do a ton of shopping online too (computer stuff and any items too) and never had any problems because all the time payed with a security lines... But now, you can refuse the payements with your "stolen" credit card numbers and refund your money back: Put a complaint to the police office and with the repport, send a copy to your bank credit card company or go to the bank office with the repport of the police, If they are correct, your credit card company will send you a new one credit card by blocking the old and they will refind back your stolen money after investigate that you never buyed anythings in this country or never gone in Italy... Don't let you stolen also by your credit card bank company: they have also insurance with these affairs when they happen... Egidio.

  15. I put this petition to steam support: I wait the answer & solution(s): ERROR = I get the following error when playing Half-Life 2 'The Instruction at 0x####### referenced memory at 0x#######. The memory could not be 'read'... PETITION: - After I made all the solutions in the FAQ, the crash remain again: - updated bios A7V8X-X from 1013 (2003) to 1014 beta (2004) and no more update available, sorry. - updated video drivers nvidia from 93.47 (2006) to 162.18 (2007) and the diag says the new drivers are "old" and tip go back to 91.74 version??? - Deleted all the Steam files and folders, updated Steam = problem remain again? - Used all the -xxxxx options in properties of the games (hl2, dod:s, fa:s, dod and firearms) and nothing changed: the memory error remain? There is no more solution to test: what can I do for to play again my favorites steam games via steam without those crashies? Egidio. PS. I don't know if it's the update of the bios or the new update of the video drivers, but my pc run more fast than before: fast display of internet page and all opened windows now????     I use a joystick for the jets, planes and chopper (Flight Simulator, Falcon 4 and other fly games same as BF2) but, mouse and keyboard for all other games. Tried a Zboard and the old (K1 I mean) Saitek keyboard gamer but quickly abandonned because they are limited for your own (re)configurations! Egidio.
