You don't use the good multiplican for your µp in the Bios : you have 100 Mhz by 11.0X = 1100 Mhz it's the default settings ! When the frequency and the multiplican are good, when you turn on your computer, in first page after the screen display the name of your graphics card, you do to see the "AMD Athlon XP 2500+" else it is not reconizsed or identified by the motherboard : sometime you do to add the mutliplican and down or add too the frequency : like 15 * 266 Mhz or 12.5 * 200 Mhz or 10.5 * 233Mhz or 11.0 * 233 Mhz until you fund the correct "2500+" displayed at your screen monitor else it don't run at his real good speed... If it display 2300+ or 2400+ it's correct too but you do to reach the 2500+. If the screen stay "Black", the µp stop itself in safe mode security = no danger, press "Reset" and hit the "Del" key again to enter in the Bios to change the parameters. But a very delicate and dangerious operation is to change the voltage core must be made with carefuly, the voltage of the core can add from 1.65 volts to 1.70 or 1.72 volts maximum if neccessairy. I donwloaded Anti-Spybot and updated it because i have had a "trojan" virus who change each time my web option : it is always the start page by thearmory.cc and it change it every all minutes in coolbear.biz ???I do to run the Spybot to find this trojan and eliminate it, now all is alright.Egidio.

I never formated when i got a virus ???But last spam was whith an auto update internet options with "coolbear" who open each time 10 to 30 internet windows ????And i can fund it and uninstalled him in the win registers but i do to run the new Anti-Spybot updated to kill web spammers...But for virus, run in safe mode like typed by StateCop and run the fix but you do to be in Administrator to make that !Egidio.

Create a blank file called "Batchfile.bat" and put in it this:del *.And save it in the HL folder.The other names files with zero bytes can also to be deleted without problems but one tip, you do to have leaved the game else impossible to delete it.I use Total Commander V6.03 (little brother of Window Commander V5.0) instead of Windows Explorer who is fastidous to use it...Egidio.
