When you turn on your computer, there is some beep and long beep to help you of the motherboard problems and additionnal cards...When you turn on your computer and all are alright, it make only 1 short beep and after your computer light on and run good.If you have 1 long beep = graphics card fail,if you have 8 pulsion beeps or short beeps = your ram card are fail or moved from there slot : remove it and reinput it in these slots.Now, there is the base of the problem, another is when you turn on and the power go off immediatly, there is dust in the power supply = you need to open it to remove the internal dust, spiders, flies with a small paint-brush or pencil and a vacuum cleaner or an aspirator.This is your first aid, heard the beeps to tell me how much and also when they are mixed too with long beeps & short beeps to find the fail(s)...Egidio.
