First of all, I am not a boy. I am 29 years old MAN. From your point of view it's not a difference but to me it is. 2. I counted 17 persons with K/D better than 2.00 (TAC server). Two of them are Punisher's alias (and maybe few others). I have no time nor wish to check them all. 3. IMO the stats from TAC server are the only reliable because it's the server that is full most of the time. Good players are always here. I OWN on every other server (especially, when I got ping lower than 70= Europe). I easily have K/D ratio around 2.00 on those servers. That doesn't mean I am that good. 4. If you want to question my calculations you have to be precise yourself. "About 300 players in FA" is not precise. BTW: Assuming: a. 300 different players (not alias) have such a great K/D ratio. b. some of them (100?) joined TAC server for more than 2 hours/ 2 weeks (well, they should if they want to compete; see also: btw(2) below). c. 50 of them are in the first 500, d. only 17 of them has K/D more than 2.00 so they're not that good as you think. BTW (2): How many 'good' servers are there? 3-4? That means max. 120 persons (I doubt they are all packed with greats). "Around 80 players" means some of those "great" players are not playing anymore (banned maybe?). 5. I found 3 names (only) of people banned. I read other threads (see: born to kill topic concering 'hypocrisy') and other name were revealed... I don't know them all, because I don't care about them. We can ask admins here how many players were banned because of hacking (that means some of them were playing exceptionally good). It may appear that there are more than 17 names of hackers on that list. BH

Well, half of those above-2-in-K/D-department has been banned for cheating... So I dunno if it's a good measure of a FA player. I love to play with Klink (or Doc) because they like challenges and they are team players. And I love to play with Ky because he's never choosing the easy path.

Well, I don't want to patronise, but 'confessio est regina probationum' ('confession is the queen of all evidence') was the main rule of evidence in middleages... Now, you have to prove there's someone guilty. On the other hand, I saw him doing things that proved he's better than the game itself... Unbelievable sniping streaks, rushing and killing with ease even if he was surrounded by the 4-5 guys, guessing the positions of enemies etc. etc. So maybe it's better he's been banned

I tried to watch the demo of sorru hacking and i couldn't but it seemed that everyone else saw this one. Now, any ideas how this could happen?

Is there any chance to watch the demo when steam says: can't open the dem file (corrupt .dem file)?I mean- maybe I could copy/paste the file to other folder than firearms... or something like that...Any ideas?

1. Hax on or hax off? :shock: 2. I'm not that ... kind of person that makes the screenshots of my best score (I don't remember that I did have one, though )3. I remember once, I got the score like 27-34 to 0 on the battlefield (???) map (the map that should be played with ak47 but EVERYONE try to outsnipe the opposite team- some hills; some bunkers or sand bags on both ends, but you can shoot from one side of the map to another). I use m82 of course (no brainer here ). I remember Doc and SS6 or Pun get suspicious about my score (I topped the list, no brainer here ), they started to talk about it, but when I tried to type some words to them I got steamed (no brainer here :evil: ).

I"ve read an article that stated that those ducks have been later saved by FD squad...

I'm still waiting for some haxors to confess they were hacking (or I'm waiting that admins will catch them; btw: Shotty, what about that demo I sent you 2 months ago? ).I'm glad that one of the biggest hackers has been cought (earlier) and banned from FAL...I'm angry because I can't write a simpliest script (like: jump and duck combo binded under one key- I hope it's LEGAL ) and some guy can write an aimbot...Speaking of RIP Sorru- I've never expected him to mature. It's one of the many mistakes he has made in his on-line life...

Don't take it so personally, please. I didn't mean I wouldn't see the screenies from the game (I already did), I didn't say I thought HL2 is ..... (enter your fav word for bad game), I didn't even say that I didn't like HL2. I just don't want to play it. That doesn't mean I don't like people who play HL2 or I don't respect them.

Well, I agreed with: not with the part I would never buy it (please check it). I like playing FA but I didn't play any other mod and HL itself. I 'prepared' to play CS with my friend but we never succeded to find friendly server (read: that we both could see it and join it). I like FPS but not as much as TBS, so if I wouldn't play FPS in the future it wouldn't mean the end of the world to me. Side note: I love Duke Nukem, but not because of 'oh-God-I-shoot-the-aliens!' part but because of the humour of this game. No offense meant, but I'm sure I won't be playing HL2 soon. Ditto for Wolfenstein, Doom, Quake etc. etc. Regards, BH

At this point it's safe to say if you're not getting this game you're quite retarded. Sorry but it's a fact. :mrgreen: Fact noted....then disregarded. I have never played Half Life, i have never even accidently opened it instead of FA. I have no intention of playing Half Life, the same goes for Half Life 2. Shooting aliens is not my idea of a good time, and i am not paying £35 on a game so that i will never play it. I TOTALLY agree with Scottish. It's exactly my case.

What is this HL2 you're all talking about?

I hate all dark maps (splinter, CRASH, oberland etc.) with the solo exception of basrah which IMO has the best 'atmosphere' in the game. I can't play it anyway- it's too dark and I can't see a thing without nvg... And I can't kill anyone with nvg on... My votes are: iwojima, crates (mmmmmmm), any other spam map (but without mortars, please!), river, boccage, caen, durandal, rubble, force, upham, coldwar, mine (why are we not playing this one? it's official FAL map...), golan... Gwar is fun- it gives everyone the opportunity to feel like the best in FA with the scores boosted by capping and holding the willage.

OK after a couple of minutes of playing the reinfs were: 180 to 120. No one switched before they were 80 to 10... (before ALAMO, as you see). We couldn't cap once (not even the good players)... We were outrushed and outsniped (the last one from weird positions), because besides the capping their team was much better. Later in the game I've been steamed...

I've just ended playing sd force. Blue team (as usual) was much more weaker than red. I speak of players that joined both sides. There were 2 good players that joined blue: FingerTrap and someone else (don't remember his name, sorry pal!). Later Hood joined blues (he's been afk)... Side note: Finger joined on my request, because I've never seen the teams so stacked.... Reds destroyed the crates something like 10-12 times.... before Alamo...C'mon, if you feel you're good in FA why are you choosing the easier path? Why can't you join blue and meet real challenge (in destroying the crates, at least)? What is so great about you and 4 of your teammates (all of them are good players) who are mass-rushing from 'secret' room? You can be there before half of the blue team choose the config of theirs (esp. when they're not as good as you).... Even the best machine gunner can't stop 5 red in blues' spawn. And later why are you switching to blue? To show your score like 50-11? I don't need you in my team... What shall we do? Show you our gratitude, kneel down? Why can't you switch to blue when it counts, when even the fool like me see the teams are stacked?Sorry, couldn't resist...BH
