Am I the only one that doesn't see the FUN in this Hardcore mode? Seriously, I barely want to turn the game on to get killed by stray bullets and spray. I don't see the fun at all. I guess I will stick to regular mode if anyone else will ever play it. I do like the FF though. Not so many nades and random death.

The trick is to look at the border of your monitor to help stop the nausea. Something static gives your eyes a break. Don't stare at it but just glance at the border.

The only good time I've had with COD4 was tonight. After Ding killed me 85 times I knifed him and stole his Barrett then got killed 2 seconds later. Lots of fun.

I believe this is when you have to delete the radial.bat file from your folder. You have to have your files NOT HIDDEN to find it. I hope I am right but I can't find the thread about it.

OK like a fool I uninstalled 2142 and reinstalled it then patched and it still says I have an older version and The Armory server does not show up. I even did an IP search to no avail. All I am seeing is the beta servers from EA.

What EA B.S. is this now? I patch the game with the 1.40 from our site and it says every time I start the game that there is a patch available and it won't let me play after I just patched it and restarted. LOL. GG EA AGAAAAAAIN. I think uninstall is the next move. Now, I check the EA forums and find this. 1. Must un-install the entire game and all files associated with it. 2. Re-install the main game. 3. Install the downloaded file for 1.40 from the link above. 4. (If you have NS expansion) Install now. 5. Install the downloaded 1.40 patch again. (Still must do this to get NS to work.) IF this is the case, I will delete the whole damn thing and send the CDs directly back to EA and tell them to F off. I'm not a violent man or impatient, even, but this is ridiculous. If I am wrong about this then I apologize in advance.

4 FOR ME I saw a guy on a mounted gun in that rainy map and he was 49 and 2. LOL. Nobody saw him there.

It would be a good idea to choose a mode and stick with it. I also hope it isn't hardcore. After playing a while I don't get the thrill behind these one hit kills. It's more like the first to react wins no skill involved but merely speed. I have no speed so I don't care for it I guess. LOL.
