OK pretty hacky job here. You can see what I mean about blending though. Duplicate the sig then choose the bottom layer and do some filter on it. THen go to the top layer and erase some and it will look blended. Of course there are many advanced ways you can learn but this is a basic idea.

Good no distortion. You make the window big enough to get the whole render in the window. Drag from one corner towards the middle of the sig and it should stay uniform. It doesn't have to be perfect but close enough so it doesn't look bad. Now you must work on blending the render into the background. Using colors or part of the render as the background helps to blend it easier too. I took the render and used it as the background. It is just enlarged and used Polar Coordinates filter to change the look then just enlarged it more to use the part I wanted for the background. The colors match the render nicely because they ARE actually the render. Color is important to match. Just put the render on top now and you can blend it more then.

It should be a new window within PS. If it won't drag then you might have to change it to RGB. It might be a gif or something else that won't match with the type of baackground that you have. IMAGE>MODE>RGB. After you change it you will be able to drag it as long as your background isn't locked. IF it is locked then just make a duplicate of it and drag it onto that layer.

  7. Most Americans can't find the city next to their's on a map. Probably because they don't have maps.
  8. It has a 1 px border. I darkened it a bit.
  9. I like it but I think it came out kinda dull maybe someone can jazz it up a bit or not.

ya, what he said. You start with background Click new then make it 450 X 100 (that is our biggest size possible on the forums). Now you have a blank sig of the correct size. Find a pic you like or "stock" and save it to your desktop so it's easy to find. Make a new layer. In photoshop hit ctrl + o and a browse box will appear now choose the pic and it will open in PS. Drag it onto your sig and size it how you want. Here you can use just part of the pic or size it to fit the 450 X 100. Mess around with the picture now to make it how you want, maybe a gaussian blur to make it seem further back than your render that you are about to place in the sig. This gives you depth. A good way to mess around is make 3 or 4 duplicate layers of the background pic. Hilite the bottom one and ripple it for instance. Now hilite the next layer up and erase parts. This will show the ripple from underneath in the spots you erased and you still have parts clean. Now and a render and make a few duplicates of it too. Do the same kinda things to it and see what you come up with. This is pretty basic stuff. Now flatten your layers and add a EDIT>STROKE of 1 px the same color as a prominent part of your sig or just use black.

You comedian LOL. Gamerenders.com planetrenders.com both have renders and tut sections.
  13. Nice thread btw. Anyone that helps someone else unselfishly is a hero. I can't imagine running into battle to save someone or running up the stairs of a burning 110 story building to save people I don't know. You Bravo, Weihe, BNelly, Warfighter and anyone I missed and whomever else is at war are heros to us behind in safety. You may not think of yourselves as heroes but you are.
  14. John Stamos LOL. Glad you had fun on yer trip.
  15. Wasn't worried...carry on. LOL.
  16. Cerbere Landing from Google satellite. Shows the orange roofs and the same kinda buildings. Gibraltar, shows the ships in the water. Tunis Harbor. This one's cool and shows the railway boxcars and the ships.

The ninjas came out nicely but I don't know about the border. Find out what theme the page is color wise then go from there to make it blend in with the rest of the page. lettering is a little hard to read for my old eyes. Where's the beer? LOL. You should have one of the ninjas wearing a beer hat with the hoses going into his mouth. Lawl.
  19. That was a very cool idea Cossu. I will look for some more.
