I thought TAC cancelled the BFV server. Is this someone elses that you guys just meet at?

I find these games are getting too confusing and too much to know to play. The beauty of FA is the simplicity compared to some of these new ones. Oh well, I guess I'm old and don't want to progress. LOL.

That's cool, in Thunder Bay we've got this new place called WirePlay. It's for people to get together and frag as a group. Good idea, a lot more fun than playing alone. The only problem is you have to pay and at home is FREE. Well, except for the internet fees.

I have 2.5 ready to go and now I can't find this server that you say is up. Is it the Armory server, the old one? Anyways my search for games shows a big 0 when I refresh it.

maybe lose the "." between 2 and 5, confuding it as to folder name or file ? Jawohl, you are right.

I did something stupid. I had the wrong folder name. It was 2.5 and needed to be jsut 25. Problem solved and thanks for the help.

I have 2.5 in it's own folder in my Half Life dircetory. ProgramFiles/Steam/SteamApps/MyName/HalfLife/Firearms2.5Now, how do I get it to run under Steam?Maybe a dumb ? but I am confused.

O.K. I installed 2.5 into a folder called firearms2.5 and put it in my Half Life folder Looks like thisProgram Files/Steam/SteamApps/MyName/HalfLife/Firearms2.5Now, the question is how do I get it run when I launch steam.2.9c always runs.Need to figure out how to get both goin?Help Please?

I hope this hasn't been answered but I don't have 2.5 anymore and would like to get it if we have a server up with it running. Any ideas where I can get it from and how to run it separate from 2.9c? Thanks

Hate to be a naysayer but I hope the two don't stay up long. It just splits things up too much especially on a slow night. 6 or 8 in each is not good and some don't even know to look for other server. Also, when the players that I like to play with are on they will probably be on the server I don't like (small maps) and then no fun for me. Maybe I am selfish hahahaha. Oh well, nice to see we can run 2 at once and the effort is appreciated of course.Klink

Good luck Gator, get that baby going!. I played on that S^D server and I had an unbelievable good ping there Icopoli. Ping isn't everything but, location really helps huh!

Does anyone ever complain to Steam and write them some nasty letters about the performance of Steam? I think I will soon, just curious again.
