I have 1821 here. Not a huge fan. Won't keep me glued to the monitor like SF. Same as Roach. Got nades, sprint, Voss ( all med assault unlocks ) Enginner unlocks all and next is Big anti tank gun.

It's funny when on the odd occasion I actually get the Walker it seems the whole other team in Engineer and I get mowed down.

I don't get EA's figuring. In BF2 you got 2 points per revive and they showed immediately so you knew what your score was. In 2142 you get 1 point per and after 8 you get a 5 bonus for the award associated with revives. A total of 13 points. I agree that is sufficient 13 points instead of whoring up 16 points for revives at 2 points each but why wait until the game is over to add them on. Just give the points after the 8 revives so you know what your score is dammit. They just make it a little harder to get points by giving you something to aim for every game. Like the 5 kills in a row and then you get another 5 points for combat proficiency or something. That is cool you then have 10 points for 5 kills just like getting 2 points per kill but you had to do 5 in a row. This makes you try harder and be more skillful.. Great but just add the points in game and not wait until it's all over.

I don't know about that shield thing for MG. I ran up to a guy behind one and he was shooting me and I pistoled him. Not too effective unless his aim was really bad.

I would agree for two reasons. Usually you don't live long enough to use all your ammo. If you do there should always be a support in your squad or a pack laying around to get more nades and bullets.

It really is sad. I'd like those buses here with the doors on the left and then I can watch all the passengers get run down as they try to get on.

1 How you can't switch weapons without getting out of zoom. Takes just that much too long to switch from AR to handgun or knife because you have to unzoom first. The worst is when you fire a AT at a Walker then you have to unzoom before you can hide to reload. By that time the Walker has killed you or at least seen where you are. Don't like this at all. 2 When I customize a Kit it doesn't stay where I left it. Next game starts and I have to add the defibs or unlocked gun or whatever every time. The problem with this is when the round starts you don't want to be fooling around choosing crap you want to be a buggy and getting the precious caps. So, you end up at the first flag with no defibs or the gun you want. You may say it doesn't take long to choose but why should you have to in the first place. It could at least save your last config. 3 Key setup. In BF2 you could bind knife and say primary weapon to the side mouse buttons and that is what you always had there. Now I press my button for primary weapon and in Assault I get the primary AR and in Engineer I get the AT rocket. Not good at all when the game relies on speed and quick thinking. 4 Can't bind key to squad VOIP. No matter what I do or how many times I rebind the key to chat in VOIP it never works. 5 Stats. The fact that I played up to 750 points and got only 2 unlocks up to there then all of a sudden they all ranked up in one game. Some players were light years ahead by now with all kinds of gizmos while I had none but nades and sprint. EA knew there was a constant problem in BF2 with this especially on weekends but they did NOTHING to prepare for this new game. Horrible support. I guess it's all about spending as little as possible to get the game out and hope people don't complaing too much and if they do just ignore them. Makes me wonder if any of these guys are actual gamers or not. Great game for sure but little annoying things make me wanna smash my monitor even worse than in BF2.

If you have any info on any unlocks that you would like to share with others please place it in here and we can better choose our unlocks due to your experience. Try and use the weapon etc. name if you can to make things more clear for people. I chose sprint = definate unlock nades = depends if you like spam or can't aim like or have video lag like me then get them. AE Diffuser NetBat PDS-1 all three of these on the Engineer unlock tree to get the Koenig H-AVR. haven't used the diffuser or PDS-1. Never any time to use them just surrounded by enemies all the time and get killed before using. Useless in most situations maybe good in very few. I feel I have wasted 3 unlocks toward a weapon (Koenig) that I have tried in game and don't like.

U will be ahead because you can find out from us what not to Unlock. Like don't bother with Engineer tree for the left side. That rocket launcher IMHO sucks bad. Maybe I suck bad but hey that's my thought. Get sprint for sure and grenades first then go for more specializing because you will go insane running at a slow pace for 100 miles per map.
