Checked it out, very awesome engine. Not too keen on the gameplay -- it's still the same ol' CS as far as that goes. At any rate, when's a good time to catch people on there? The TAC server's been empty the past few times I've checked this weekend.

This thread was supposed to be about DCF; I don't think this was meant to bring back the age old debate of BFV versus DC...The point I was trying to make... I'm not sure if this changed the course of the conversation or not... was that DCF is probably a closer model of BF2 than BFV. Not that DC is better than BFV.

Looks like they managed to squeeze a few more months out of the BF42 engine at least ;-). Definately closer to BF2 than BFV... if TAC's going the BF2 route why not pick this one back up in the interim?
