Well I just did a clean install for 2142 and downloaded the patch off the website here and once again it won't let me join a server. It crashes everytime I try to join a server....Yahoo for the patch......

Yes, hardcore mode is by far better. I agree with shotty on how the game feels while in hardcore mode. One thing I would like to see or maybe try is friendly fire on as well. That way it would elimnate all mindless nade throwing/gernade launching noobs. Like I said something to try. If it becomes out of hand and people tk to much or if it just ruins the feel of the game. Turn it off.

That is what gets me right there. How do you not think of putting in a buddy list, find a server by name, or being able to make your own class in game? I know what it is. They haven't played FA. While it is a old game. It had everything you could pretty much want in a FPS. Except the ranking system to get the unlocks. Instead of that though you got them in game, but you just couldn't keep them from map to map. Ahhhh, good old FA.......... --------- What they need to do is get some of the people from BF2 series and the COD series, and combine the features of each game. While it seems everyone here enjoys each game. No one is really one sided. Each game has features that everyone enjoys.

I'd stick with the 1125R. You couldn't ride that bike for no more then 10 minutes.

There is no teamwork in this game. The most I have seen is when two guys come up to capture a point. Even then the teammate wouldn't do so if they didn't get the points. Then there is the dolphin diving that is now back into play. I wasnt expecting to see this in the game....kind of dissapointing. Don't get me wrong, this game isn't a bad game, but I wouldn't really say it is any better then 2142 as far as gameplay goes.

Sorry to say this, but this game has more BS in it then I what expected. I will even go as far as to say that this game tops 2142....That is saying something.

I just ended up doing a format of the pc and reinstalled and now it seems to work. As far as my high ping goes, I got nothing. I wish I could have them rerout it. For some reason it goes all the way over to denver, colorado. Then back down to dallas, texas. No idea what the hell people are thinking when they do that.

Is this game like diablo where you go out with parties I assume then?

I don't know what to do anymore....I tried deleting that file and still nothing....

Alright, I don't know what hell is going on with this game. It has been going on for about a week now. First, it started with locking up while loading up the map to the server. Was quickly fixed by reinstalling. Then I got the bright idea of updating my vid drivers.... After that the game would only run for awhile then do a hard lockup. I mean I actually had to hit the restart button on the case. Nothing worked....... When this happened the game would freeze and keep on playing a looped sound....So I rollbacked the drivers and still nothing. Not only that, but things seem to be laggy for me in game. I don't think anything is overheating. As I can put my hand and not feel any real heat inside my case. Other then that my ping has been jumping spratically. Our server never shows up orange or red for me, but lately it has been doing that every now and then. I usually avg. a 45-50 ping. Now it is like 80-90. I tried playing the game on single player and samething still happened. I suppose I could reinstall again, but I figured I would see if anyone else has had this problem. Yes, this is why I have been leaving vent or the game everynow and then. Been trying different things and I always end up being laggy and then usually a hard-lockup......

In BF2 they didn't not use "hitboxes". I believe it was something "mesh". Yes, if a person was in motion the boxes would lag behind a little. That is why it is hard to hit anyone "online" while they are in motion...

That is exactly right.... I don't mind riding in town every now n then, but riding on the highway is a whole different feeling. Like I said. First thing first...Set a price, and from there go maybe $500 up or so. Unless your rich then don't worry about then. As far as bikes go. Don't worry about the cc. I road a 1100cc for a little while before I got my 1200cc bike. The thing is though I learned on a 175cc dirt bike.

I would definately lookd for a used bike. Nothing new.....Oh and if you can help it. Definately don't by any used bike from the dealership.

Actually you won't be ripped apart by the road. You will just get a nice road rash. The main thing is is that you don't hit anything after you crash. If you go from the bike to the road it won't be all that bad, compared to bike to car and then road.....

I ride with a helmet ass..... Although I didn't when I rode the busa....
