Well, apparently snap, jonjon and sgoss took over the firearmsmod site in attempts to keep it for FA: source, but judging that FA forums no longer exist, I would say they failed. I think the only clans that remain besides tac are a very few members of pop and ia. sac maybe alive too. FS is on "holiday" and ds doesnt have enough dedicated players to have 6 active players. Other then that. Nothing I guess.

bought a 14 dollar card, installed it, dled new drivers for it, started up bf2 played for 10 minutes, it locked, I picked up my cpu, walked to the window, and tossed it out.

I keep seein that the steam servers are to busy to handle my request. I have to re-dl counter strike source on my cpu after my reformat

if i could get bf2 to run it would be that, instead its other stuff (work, second job, summer class,) and FA I probally play 1 hour a day of FA. Sometimes longer depending on my patience for a fugley game with a community that hates itself.

on board ethernet -e- I finally found a non-punkbuster server with ppl in it. I was able to play for an hour and a half w/o locking up. I had all my settings on medium except dynamic lighting and the shader option which was turned off. Also, there was only 6 ppl at any one time in this server. I joined another server with punkbuster and about 10-12 ppl in it and was able to play for bout 15 minutes til it froze up again. gtfo punkbuster???

Only thing is, is that I am able to play single player for hours on end with med/high settings. :\

Im thinking my cpu or card is getting too hot also. Ill check it out. thanks mac.
