  1. Nice, beautiful car
  2. Sounds like rationalization for being lazy to me.

I would buy it in a heartbeat if I weren't in school right now As it is, I have enough to do without getting addicted to another MMO right now. One of my friends did get it, he's been a long time WoW player, and he's said all good things about Aion.
  4. Well, I suppose DICE earns a point of respect from me for this one. Not because they are including dedicated servers, but because they pretty much called out IW for being lazy and making MW2 a console port.
  5. I signed it too. Anyone know when it started? It had about 35k signatures when I signed it. And on the issue of punkbuster vs. VAC: I've played games with both. CS:S and TF2 and every valve game use VAC. I have never seen a cheater in TF2. I have seen a few in CS:S. I have seen hundreds in CoD4. Not to mention that Punkbuster ALWAYS runs on your system, like spyware. If you check your processes, its always in there. If you disable it running, it messes things up. So even if VAC weren't better at keeping cheaters out (which in my experience it is) it would still get a huge thumbs up from me for not acting like spyware.
  6. The HUGE difference is that CoD is a first person shooter, where games are played with dozens of people. What a stupid move by IW... at least they're not using punkbuster, but still not gonna buy the game because of this move.
  7. You have to have Half Life 1 and Steam to install Firearms. Steam is free. Half Life 1 is not.
  8. I saw this thread, and immediately said HOLY CRAP ITS BULLETFACE! I remember you (even though you probably have no clue who I am, think I used a different name back in the day that I can't remember) I don't think anyone around here still plays FA at all anymore, but if we get a good few then I'd be glad to play
  9. Pro, because I already have it
  10. PlasticVomit? Who is this so called, PlasticVomit? haha, welcome back

    Buy the game again...

You have to have a valid CD key.
  13. I've got the first one. I don't really play it anymore. The problem is that the Versus mode is way too frustrating if you have a bad team. It makes the game too competitive even if you don't want it to be. It's a fun game, but to me it loses a lot a replayability very fast. I'll probably end up buying l4d2 just because I'm curious, though.

Sorry about your loss, Wolfey. We had to do the same about a month ago, I feel for you.
  15. Good to hear. Best of luck, Shotty.
  16. Whoa, Shotty's getting married! That's awesome, man! It seems like just yesterday you were the college guy yelling at me in CS:S. Congratulations! I hope yall have a long and happy life together, and congrats on the kid too! A mini-shotty. That's actually a little frightening. Best of luck! Also, college students everywhere (at least down here) thank you for your fine work at Solo.
  17. Tribes 2, though that would be pushin the late edge of childhood I suppose. If you want real childhood, probably Red Baron. I was good at that one, could take down the Red Baron in a dogfight in the starting pass... thats like my first childhood gaming memory. Board game... I think I'm going with Freefall and sayin chess on this one.
  18. The only time I give cash is when I give it to everyone after someone just gives themselves cash. Sure its a perk of being an admin, but I still think it unfair. I've already brought this up at some point with you, Murd. But if you don't want me to do that, I wont.
  19. Hip Hip Hooray! Gator rocks so hard.
  20. I'm all for the old "if its in the game" rule most of the time, but not on this one. Someone did it to me the other day, and its just annoying. It promotes selfish play and is very frustrating. Oh and Shotty, it happens when a teammate does it to the defuser, not an enemy. Example: I'm defusing. My teammate comes up to me, throws a grenade right into me. It makes a loud crackling glitchy sound (at least it did for me) and I automatically stop defusing. My teammate then defuses the bomb himself. So, as far as most things go, if they're in the game, then use them. But not on this one. I'm behind Murd all the way on this one.
  21. Get used to it. Flashes happen
  22. Yeah had at least a couple of people playing almost every time I've looked at it, its great!
  23. Happy birthday Klink!
  24. Hey a bunch of people are dying in Iran right now... being slaughtered by Iranian gov't thugs. Just saying.
  25. SneakyArab replied to Strobes's topic in Main Hall
Sorry to hear that Strobes We have a miniature schnauzer here too, she's 13 years old and seems to be fading. I feel your pain, I'll pray for yall!
