They didn’t monetize the BF1 severs besides the length of time you’d have access to it. It sounds like the revenue that brings in isn’t worth the trouble of maintaining those new servers and the dev/qa time for RSP. I’d rather they cancel the BR mode and allocate those funds to new maps. They have to know people preferred the third party servers, they just don’t want to go down that route anymore. After reading his comments there’s practically no chance of RSP being delivered. By the time they finish whatever is on the current roadmap devs will be moved to battlefront next.

Steam has been floundering for so long, this will definitely make them improve. Besides epic has so much money from Fortnite they can make this pretty good.

They really don’t care what the community thinks, read this post: They know nobody wants the TTK changes but they’re still going to do it because they think people are quietly quitting because it’s too hard. Maybe the hardcore mode will be worth playing as long as they don’t make it like the BF1 one was.

This whole thing is such a mess... Diablo 4 is probably 5+ years out at this point. They can't even figure out why type of game it's going to be. It's quite good, the level of detail you see in the world is pretty amazing some times. It looks awesome too in 4k, I'm playing it on the Xbox One X. You can tell they put a lot of effort into it.

Nice throwback to the earlier battlefields. Hamada is the biggest map available at launch.

They should have at one of the larger maps in the beta. Too many people saw the two smaller sized maps and assumed it wouldn't have the same grand scale that BF1 did. It looks like they'll have plenty though.

Meh, I'd rather them focus on the game then RSP. Or hand it off to a different team all together.

I played a round before work, the servers are having some issues. I needed to join through the server browser, quick play would result in an endless black loading screen. Also, the squad system was broken. You can view or join squads which is weird since it worked fine in the second alpha.
