I was watching this live on Friday, pretty incredible! Considering how close they came last time.

There is a mini-map but it's less useful in hardcore servers, only people who are spotted/firing show up. People do hack, but after playing a while you build up game sense and you start to learn where people are hiding/camping. There's only so many places people can be.

The ban was done via GUID, not name. It's the one beginning with EA_6CA5.

I wonder where they're getting their information from. I don't see anything in Origin and haven't heard anything. Someone asked on twitter a few hours ago and they said they haven't announced a date yet.

Something weird I noticed is if you go to the link above and start customizing a BF4 server you can actually get a 64 player 60hz server. Not sure if it's just a bug in their website. First select 60hz and you will see it sets the maxium at 48 players. Then change the region to something else and then back to Los Angeles. The player count should be unlocked and it's no longer limited to 48 players. I did see a 60hz 64 player server in Battelog, wonder who they use.

It's not a bad deal if you watch other shows on CBS. I think it was $6 a month. I signed up for the free trial but didn't continue since I already have Netflix and Hulu plus.

So are we going to need CBS all access to be able to see it? That sucks if true.

It would be interesting to try this out, especially with higher tick rates, to see the differences in hit registration. I had no idea they had it that low to begin with.
