I'm not sure if anyone subscribes to Games for Windows magazine, but they did a whole article this month on COD4. They had an interview with some of the devs regarding multiplayer. They said that it will have "ranked" and "unranked" servers. They said they looked at Battlefield among other games and will take the good and the bad from all of the systems and implement them in COD4. It looks like it's going to be a pretty fun game.

What did you find exactly? All games have preorders some time in advance.

Definitely agree with you on this one, this had gotten my killed countless times. They said it was because the barrel is under the iron sights, so when your that close you need to take that into account but it still needs to be adjusted. You can adjust iron sites to compensate for that difference, apparently their weapons don't.

As in maps I think, they started a thread where people can mention which maps seemed unbalanced in terms of having to cap objectives and such.

This was posted in of the dev's journals. It's nice that they are going to have some type of map, I still get lost sometimes on the maps. Says improved HUD, not sure if they are giving in to the demand some people made for kill notifications or not. It also mentions, 3 setting indicator system, I have no idea what thats about.

Never needed customer support for anything, works like a champ. Don't use the usb ports in back, but I guess 2.0 would be nice. But this keyboard is fairly old. I wouldn't call these glaring flairs, I eat over my keyboard, slam it(after playing 2142), among other things and the paint is fine Only complaint I have is not enough game developers are taking advantage of the lcd screen. We need to rely on the community to develop apps, which still need to support from the game developers.

I think he should speak for himself, the battlefield series games don't have incredible replay values themselves. I haven't started 2142 since insurgency came out. Battlefield 2 was a great game, but they made a big mistake by making a mod of it and releasing it as the next version. The next version will honestly fail if they do not use a new engine, it's time for some change. I'm not sure if I will even purchase the next battlefield, COD4 is looking pretty good right now (if I will be doing much gaming at all).

There are many threads on this already, the crashing issue was fixed in the last patch. Topics about it here, here and here.

I never use the stats programs for games, there are far more useful apps like ventrilo and other custon programs.

Yes, I think it's a lot of fun. We put up a server for it, you can see it by clicking on live status on the top of the website.

That's correct. It was set to be this way a while back to speed up page loads, it won't have to go to other servers/websites to get the signature images.

The forums are set to not allow external links as signatures, they will have to be uploaded from your PC or our gallery.
