Welll.... they ARE u.s. miitary... so they're not gonna set up in stupid places. But I see what you mean.The crowbar really lost all effectiveness after you got past the turkeys (turkeys = my pet name for headcrabs) and the occasional Slave beatdown.

Guys in masks = new grunts (I think, if im wrong plz set it straight)And yeah the whole lobbing-nades-with-perfect-accuracy-over-walls-at-you thing was pretty gimped.

I found the grunts to be rather stupid.... lethal in groups, but stupid. Althought they did kinda have this omnipresent awareness... but it only kicked in after they'd seen you once. Like you could sneak up on one once ok, but after that any grunts that saw you always knew where you were. :? Hope the new AI is more intelligent/realistic.

Well i played for a little while and just hated it. Its a great game im just not a big fan of "Lets make it as realistic as possible". It needs to still be a game, or else its not fun anymore. Realism has a nasty habit of killing the fun element, for me anyway. My opinion, you guys are certainly free to like whatever you want.

I am seeing a startling 180 on the Armory's policy on exploits. It used to be anything you could do, go for it, but now people are saying no exploits whatsoever? Strange...
