  1. Step 1: play on ranked servers Step 2: Check your progress on the BFHQ (a tab in your BF2 main menu.) Step 3: Get your global score to 500 to become a Private first class and get it to 1000 to become a Lance Coporal. Step 4: Once you become a Lance Corporal you get to unlock one weapon of your choice. Happy gaming.
  2. I enjoy commanding every once and a while. Artillery makes me feel like a supervillain.
  3. Seems kind of unfair. but I don't mind, the spec-ops default gun is pure ownage.
  4. I am noticing longer load times in between maps as I set my video settings higher. It is getting a little out of hand. I have no chance of applying for commander because by the time I get int the game someone has already applied and been accepted. I was wondering if this was due to me only having 512mb of RAM at the moment or are there any other things I can do to lower my map loading times. My current video settings are all maxed except for textures which are set to low (because of my low RAM).
  5. Just sit in a ground defence thing in your base, it's based on time. not kills
  6. Lance Corporal, I would probably go for the Anti-tank weapon.

I enjoy my logitech keyboard, very good except the "standby" button on it completely shuts down my computer.
  8. It works both ways though, some times I'm just minding my own business and get run over, and I was out in the open and completely visible.

Whenever I look at Zboards I realise that it would be very difficult to re-learn how to type.
  10. I'd have to go with the TK punishment system> If they don't punish you, you still get a negative score.

The stat websites have trouble with name that have the < > tags in them. People with <TAC> in their name have noticed this problem too.
  12. Hahaha, I wish I had a cat.
  13. Jets with thier afterburner on are a lot hotter then normal jets. Just something I picked up on discovery channel.
  14. Right now I'm working on getting the pistol and knife badges.
  15. Shooting a TOW stationary missle launcher at an APC (that was already desroyed?) and it went straight through it and hit my friendly Blackhawk. I got 5 TKs and most of them punished me. It was awsome. I also used the Jihad-Jeep in the demo for a while. For more effective than playing the anti-tank class.

I dislike the red-name glitch which has made me TK a few times.
  18. Snap. Hasn't happened to me (luckily). :peace: 6 hours of your life gone forever.
  19. What have the "non-straight" people done to you? I came here to read about New York not g ay bashing. Keep your opinions to yourself.
  20. Yup, I believe that for corporal you must get 6000 as your global score. 1/3 of the way there

    Thanks a bunch.
  22. I don't think it's 2000, Look at my global score and you'll see. the bar isn't even close to full. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v82/Avtraz/Rank.jpg
  23. Does anyone know how many points corporal is? I've been playing for a few days since I got Lance Corporal and I only have about 1/4 inch of the bar filled.
