BAsically, riding along, 55mphish and then massive Tankslapper (those of you who ride bikes will know what this is), about 50yards on the front wheel stopped, spitting me over the handlebars..

Severe abrasions on the entire left side of my body, past the fatty layer under the skin on the inside of my left knee, Friction burns on my left thigh, right rear calf, top of my left foot, left abdomen (one severe) left forearm (outer), 2 puncture wounds on my left elbow, one of which contaminated with the melted lining of my motorbike armour which will need to be monitored and removed at a later date. Severe bruising on the left elbow, thigh, calf and foot, bruising to my right knee, hip and left abdomen, Scratches on my left knee and bruising also. Fortunately however there are no apparent internal injuries or broken bones.

some ligament damage to the top of my foot as well..

Pictures will follow tomorrow... soon as i get them uploaded.

This is a tank slapper, for the technically minded, its Harmonic forces at work, basically the wheel hits a small bump or notch in the road at precicely the right moment, this then makes the bars start to shake left, then right, A force applied at the perfect time will double the resultant force back the other way (similar to a pendulum on a grandfather clock). Eventually you get the bars hitting the stop on each side and there isnt much coming back from that,
Yeap, looks good hope that you'll ride again like you did before(having no fear about crashes).I.m saying that cause i feel some "snake" in the stomach when i jump on the motorbike next day and more than that i have to see the doctor every 2 days for the next 6 weeks. My knee was really bad, minor it was a broken ribb and with my right arm i cant lift anything heavy for a week.Welcome to the motorbikes fun club :D Get better faster, the summer is short in England
thats a nice case of road rash u got there man hehe that why leather reinforced trousers with the steel plates in the joints hehe
Holy crap Shotty, you're lucky. I'm glad you don't have any internal injuries. And your able to move. I guess your bike is pretty wrecked?

Wasnt my bike lol, was one of the company ones,, hence i am not worried at all

And along that lines there wasnt much damage to the machine as it was anyhow, pegs broken and a few skuffs (due to the style of the bike ()
