Posted October 29, 20186 yr I asked for a refund, and they graciously and quickly refunded my money. With that said, let me explain why I asked for a refund. The game itself is awesome, very immersive and challenging, not to mention it looks fantastic. The problem, unfortunately, is that the game suffers from frame loss and bad stuttering. I tried my best to make it play better, but I was unable to accomplish it. I sent a PM to those who bought the game, and a few of them have already received their refunds as well. I will, however, revisit the game at a later date when it gets optimized a little better. It was truly a lot of fun to play.
October 29, 20186 yr I guess I will have to do the same thing then. It is indeed the only problem with this nice game. But it is a persistent one for now and for sure they know this and probably they are working on it. I have been playing Mass Effect long time ago, and Citizen reminds me a few similarities between the games, only Citizen is built at a more larger scale being able to deal with an entire Universe of adventures. Sad to stop now when I was just getting to understand the game, but nevertheless a good decision, playing at 30 frames or less is almost impossible. PS: Is the refund procedure an easy one ?
October 29, 20186 yr Yep I asked and received the refund this morning. Lots of potential but the bugs are too numerous
October 29, 20186 yr I feel you. Sounds similar to WW3. Sounds like both need some optimizations. Lag and frame rate loss makes any game miserable to play.
October 29, 20186 yr Thanks for the review. The concept would be so great. A game like this really needs to get made
