I just got to thinking. Would the fact that I have RivaTuner installed be causing any of this?
  • Author
riva tuner is a tweak app i used for FA, i just ruled it out though. It doesnt do jack unless its running.
I was using the 44.03's. They worked the best until a few new games did not render properly..Far Cry demo and Unreal 2004 demo.I have the 53.04's now for Win MEWhat you need to rmember is that the MX440 is a direct X 7 card. Have you updated your direct X to 9.0b ?DC is a Direct 3D game so this could affect the driver a little.Have you overclocked your card at all.The core could be causing this problem.Open up your case and check for heat issues.

ya my direct x is 9.0b I'm going to roll it back to 7 now. I'm going to just make do until I can afford a new card.

The DirectX 9.0b runtime cannot be uninstalled. We recommend Windows Me and Windows XP users create a "System Restore" point before installing. For information on creating a restore point, please refer to the following Microsoft Knowledge Base articles: Thanks Microsoft !!
